Whats Going On In Our Capital City
Okay, basically, idont live in the capital city but its pretty bad. I'll tell you how i know this, mkay?
It started with the bronze soldier. It symbolizes the defeat of the nazys and the occupation of the republic of estonia by the communists. And the government had it taken down and moved to another place. This created such an uproar in the russian communities that its sort of scary. People were pyling up around the statue and that continued for a few months until just this thursday(26 of april)the statue got taken down and away. There were riots around the square and kiosks got torn apart and so did busstops. Stores got broken into, windows were thrown to smitherines. My friend's school got seven broken windows. Stones and bullets were thrown at the police and its said that one or two policemen got shot. Its pretty bad. I'm going to Tallinn tomorrow. My mom just posted an article on this and i agree with her. The statue was taken to a better place and also the remains of the soldiers under the statue. They got taken away from all the stomping and noise to i dont know what part of the city where there is quiet and less walking.
Most of our country's police forces are all united in the capital city and its costing the country a shitload of money to keep those men and women fed and accomodated(sp?). I hope this won't turn worse than it already is and that the problems get solved as quickly as possible.

I think its a symbol that should be there for everyone. They shouldnt take it away, riots and everything well a bit violent but Im glad ppl are rebelling and manifestating. If they werent heard quiet way let shout out louder
