Last days of school can just be the best days ever.
Those days where you can just piss-fart around and not even have to bother pretending that you are doing work because you have none. That was like today. I finished the first semester of year 10! So, I have only got another half year to go!
Like everyone knows, last day of school is a ‘bludge’, and so it was. And so it should be!
I started the day off with Geography, I like it, I don’t see why noone else does. Maybe its just because I have a really good teacher for a change. As for this specific lesson, we watched ‘Legally Blonde’ instead of doing work. Throughout the time, I was going back and forth to the computer to check out my myspace, (if anyone would like a proxy site clowncloud.com or Openupms.com are great )
And watching ‘Legally Blonde’.
The bell rung and then I was off to my next class, MUSIC CLASS. I love music class, this is because I like music. We had a teacher swap halfway through the course and now we have a better teacher. Its not that the other one couldn’t understand music, its just that she kept making us do theory work, and that isn’t fun. This new teacher we have lets us play with all of the instruments; she lets us do more practical activities to help us learn, which is far better for us as students.
The lesson we had today our teacher wanted us to improvise and makeup something, so that is what we did. (Note that there are only 11 people in our music class and 4 of them were away) Everybody got on an instrument, but I didn’t get one. I just sat around, I didn’t bring my guitar to school and I can’t use the school guitars because they are right handed guitars and I play left handed guitars and the strings would be back to front.
Instead, I got out a bass and set it up to an amp. Even though it was right handed, it was easier to play then guitar because I was only playing notes rather than chords. I can play a little bass, and it was fun!
The teacher wanted us to make up something and everyone play together. I hardly ever play bass, so I didn’t know what to do; instead I started playing ‘Knowledge’, the Green Day version. The teacher got everyone to stop and for everyone to watch me and then she wanted everyone to play something along to it! She asked me what song it was, so I looked at my other Green Day bud in the class and said “its Knowledge, by Green Day”, I felt proud. Teehee.
Our teacher asked me if I wanted to play bass in the school choir. I was amazed! No one has ever asked me to do something like that, and I don’t even play ‘right-handed bass let alone a bass guitar! I play guitar.
Anyways, after the bell went, I was still sitting on the floor with the bass in my lap playing the line to ‘Knowledge’ and bopping along to it, I finally decided to leave, it was my last music lesson and I left with a smile on my face!
It was then recess, so I ate. My friends told me that they tried to squeeze a mandarin into my locker, so I laughed at them, I knew they did it, and I had a banana in my hand, so I showed them the banana and then ran off to their locker with every intention of smashing a banana inside their locker, while my friend was chasing me trying to stop me! We were laughing the whole way. I made it to her locker, but I had no time to unlock her locker because she was right behind me.
The next class I had was Art. We spent out time mucking around with paint and splatting it all over a piece of paper because we could do anything we liked. I made a few signs, one of them said “Frank is Nice” (referring to Frank Iero from MCR), and the other said “Frank Iero He’s Our Hero”, I made an extra one to give to my friend. Then we got the paint in our hands and splatted them into each other!
We left that class quite satisfied today. We went to lunch which was filled with playing ‘Murder in the Dark’ in the girls toilets. We had loads of fun!
Then we ad maths class, and to some surprise, our maths teacher was away, soooo, we got to watch “The Wedding Singer”. I absolutely adore that movie.
And that was that. The day ended, and we left to go home. I caught the bus with my friends and then got off at my stop. I realised that I had a lot of fun today, things like that very rarely happen. I will say that I was very immature today, but I had a great time!
Next week I will be on Work Experience. I am going to a place that sets up before bands and concerts. I think I will be having a great time there! I cant wait!

I would just like to say 'thankyou' to steffie. And i just did : cassi : for ya! Ok, i just realised how wrong that sounded
To the rest of GSB and you mods out there, im sorry if this blog lacks a little but of strcture, if you feel the need to change it, knowck yourself out!

Last days of school are the best! I always got stuck with teachers who wanted to work until the very last second of the year. But when you've got good teachers, you can have fun. I wish I could play guitar. I envy you. :)

when you leave school forever, you spend the last 3 weeks doing no work in some subjects and the last sh*t in the rest and then do gcses. but then you get prom =D

lmfao.
We still have 2 weeks left till semester one is over.
We had a career expo today, where the year 10's got to walk around along with another .. 20-30 schools from the area. Was squishy, but awesome. Plus we got to have red rooster or macca's on the way back to school. x]
