Agh, some people are really insensitive.
See, my cat that I've had for 13 years, which around as long as I've lived in this country, was killed by a bunch of stray dogs this weekend. So I was real depressed at school, and someone asked me what was on my mind, and when I explained she said: "About time!" I was pretty pissed off at her, but decided against making a scene.
Man, it really sucks, cause it's not like it was some random kitten I had for a week or anything, it was 13 years, as long as I can remember. It's not exactly something you can just replace. *sigh*

Wow, that's horrible.
My cats were 18 and 19 last summer when they died- older than I am, so I'd been living with them my entire life! I was distraught, it felt like losing a family member.
So I know how you feel :[ I'm sorry for what happened and for those people.

it really pisses me off when people act like that..

Wow that truly is insensitive. Some people just never see how an animal can be a part of someone's family, like a brother or sister. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry...that's awful. my dog was attacked by a pit bull and it was terrifying...I can't even imagine. the response that girl gave? not helpful. I hope the hurt heals in time
