Huge mistake
You know why the world is so screwed up? Why no one seems to be happy anymore?
It's because people go and mistake some ridiculous infatuation for love. People find someone they like to be around, and all of a sudden, it's love. I mean, gimme a break. Love? Seeing some dude or chick you like and it's love? And heck, this happens to everyone, kids, teenagers, and adults. Adults are getting divorced like there's no tomorrow. The world's definition of love is seriously erroneous.
Then comes the part where you're in a relationship with this person. They ask you to do something you don't think is right (and mind you, this could be anything). But hey, it's love, so you'll do it, right? People go against their values because they're blinded by some wild fantasy of eternal devotion and acceptance which they believe should obviously be a result of a love that may possibly be non-existant. Then they're all messed up and resentful with themselves because they did.
And of course, the break-up. The fooled now falls into despair because of the end of this 'love'. Hell, they may become depressed, violent, suicidal, you name it. And why? Because they believed that some crush was a lot more than just that: a crush. Because they believed that the other was truly devoted to them, because they believed that the 'love' was too deep to be swayed away by some third party.
And I'm not telling you this just to be a smart-ass and rub it in your faces, I'm telling you this because I think that if people put a little bit more brainpower into it before making decisions that affect others, the world would be a way better place. So next time you think you've found someone you love, take it slow. Don't dive head first into a relationship (or an obsession).

i agree,
thats why sometimes I never want to say i love you to anyone ever, because I don't know if I'll know if that's actually what it is. thats why I'm so afraid to say that I love a certain someone...I am positive I do..but I'm afraid people will b*tch me out and say I don't love him..but whatever. I know I do=\
I deffinatly agree with this blog.

I agree in a way.
But you are making it sound like love doesn't exist,
and let me tell you
it does.
And even teens can fall in love!
Its just not common...but it can happen.
I believe you can fall in love at any age, actually
I had the cutest little girl crush on the boy I was later engaged too.

Love is just a lazy generalisation used for a hundred different feelings and just as many situations....
Lyrics from the song Happiness Is Just A Chemical by Darren Hanlon..

I agree.
"Love" now a days (most of it) is such a joke. The more you rush into things the more things will rush out. How hard is it for people to understand that? Feelings for somebody could change your life...
I don't know why people throw that away or are so careless with that.
