Elliot Minor: York HMV

On the 29th October, The White One Is Evil, Elliot Minor’s third single was released, and at a York signing they also put on a show. This is the third time I’ve seen them live, and yet again they never fail to put on an amazing show.

Band?
Alex: Lead Vocals/Guitar
Ed: Vocals/Guitar
Dan: Drums/Occasional Vocals
Ali: Keyboard
Teddy: Bass

Set Listing?
-The White One Is Evil
-Parallel Worlds
-Jessica
-Time After Time
-Still Figuring Out

Performance?
Amazing. They’ve always been an amazing live band; just now they seem more comfortable with themselves.

Most Memorable Part?
Alex asked if anyone was from York and the whole crowd went mental. Then he paused, smiled and asked if anyone was from Leeds. Cue me, jumping and cheering, alone. He called out hi and waved at me, and I felt so amazingly special.

Atmosphere?
Rather pathetic. The crowd was rather still throughout all the songs except TWOIE, but I guess that’s expected; most people appeared fairly new to the band, but it was still immense.

Anything Else?
Well, before the gig I met Teddy and Dan’s dad and little brother Con

Oh, and here’s 2 videos I took…

Summary?
Elliot Minor are AMAZING; whether studio, live or in a tiny HMV.
