Green day. I first heard of them back in 97. When Nimrod came out. I heard Good riddance.I didn't really adore the song. but it was one of my favorites. I didn't take much notice into the band. Then came...
04. It was the most suckass year for me. I found a comfort. Almost like a drug.
American idiot. My brother got it for Christmas. I instantly took to it. I loved it. I could really relate to one of the songs. Boulevard of Broken Dreams. It rocked. My mom loved it I loved it my brother was ok with it.
We ended up with 3 green day American idiot cd's. Both me and my bro had international superhits. Then he got bullet in a bible. 2005. GREEN DAY! I got really into them. I was this cute little girl back then. When I look back I start to gag. I'm completely different. 2006 I fell out with them. This year oh yeah! I fell in love with them over the summer. I got magazines with posters and everything. And everything on my Christmas list GREEN DAY. They helped me through the toughest time's in my life.
They never have saved me, because well I've had many dumb stupid mistakes in my life. Like death almost. And never once have I seen Billie Joe, Tre cool or Mike Dirnt come flying to my rescue. And I don't think they will ever have to. I'm a Tre cool fanatic. my name for my friends is Kristy cool. so either call me DG or KC. Don't really matter to me.
But Green day has helped me through a lot. And i always wonder what would happen to me if I never found Green day. Would I be the same girl.
At school I'm picked on for it. They are jackass's.
I have a binder and make Green day collages. I have some bad words no scratch that i have only bad word's on it. I have also very perverted sayings on it. People always tell me it's inappropriate I just shake it off. They shouldn't really care for me, mind there own business. I've been picked on for the worst things because of it. My teacher's have seen it. They have no problem. My close friends have no problem with it.
But no matter what, I'll always be a proud Green day fan. No matter what you say. I'll always be proud to say it too. Green day are my Idol's. And if you don't like it. i don't really care.
You call me knowing everything there is to know about Green day obsessions.

Green Day completely changed me too, but I'm so glad for that. There are so many friends I would never had met if it weren't for them, and I wouldn't have my band or make my own music, and I think all my interests actually flow from that creative stream they brought to me; like writing and photography. Even fashion.
