Flight of the Conchords
A sitcom is about two folk-rock-comedy-etc... based band from New Zealand trying to hit it big in New York, the show represents the actual band members themselves from their real lives in a fictionalized and comedic way.
This series is simple and dry, yet its easy to understand and get into. In every episode theirs always a re-ocurring theme or situation, such as 'roll-call', the married stalker 'Mel' or one of the band members(or both) breaking into song in each episode, that never gets old.
There are many awkward moments in the series but it never fails to make you laugh. Just about every song sung gets stuck in your head, but not in that annoying bad way, until a new one is made.
Flight of the Conchords Starring...
Bret McKenzie - Himself
Jemaine Clement- Himself
Rhys Darby - Murray
Arj Barker - Dave
Kristen Schaal- Mel
