Another inspiration blog. :O
I read a blah about someone being disappointed with someone they thought was totally awesome, but wasn't actually who they turned out to be.
Then I thought again.
Then I remembered last weeks events.
So I met this really awesome band. The Soviet Machines.
You probably heard me ranting about them a few times.
We hung out on the floor of Sam Goody playing spin the bottle.
It just so happens that one of the members spun the bottle and it pointed towards a rack of CD's. I walked over to the container, but I saw Green Day. I figured I'd let him kiss Green Day, cause they're so yummy-licious.
He ended up buying the CD, cause he asked me if they were good. I said yes.
A few days ago I visited his myspace. Under his Heroes section, he lists Green Day. He says he's listened to them for at least 10 years now.
They won battle of the bands, along with 2 grand and a record deal.
Now all they have to say for themselves is..Well, they don't really say anything.
Aside from the fact that they have songs on itunes and if you don't buy them you're uncool, and they have shows almost every night that are so awesome you won't be let down unless you don't go to them.
They won't shut up. They're too money greedy. They yelled at me cause I wouldn't buy a friggen t-shirt.
They didn't even thank me for being the ones to help them get so big.
Oh well.
Done.
