Broke up with my Girlfreind, god it hurts!
Broke up with my Girlfreind today. I felt quite emotionally attached to her but it didn't work. D: Really loved her! It was pretty petty actually. She is obsessed about a generic, and unproductive band called Elliot Minor. i was annoyed at her nature of talking about them all the time, so she broke up with me over that. She cared more for a band than me. She said that i will find someone better. But I do hold strong feelings for her. maybe it will get patched together, but its unlikely. ): Well life goes on. I just think Elliot Minor offer nothing new to the already populated music industry, they contribute plastic pop song filled with tedious clichés. Its my opinion. I go to College with her, so we will talk on Wednesday.
You can love someone and break up with them. Just depends on the reasons for doing so, I mean nothing is perfect in a realtionship.

Some people find relief in music. Normally, I’d have a long Elliot Minor based rant type thing, but I’m assuming you’re lashing out at them instead of directing your emotions towards her. To me it seems there’s a lot of stuff you need to say to her, and talking would probably be a good step to take, instead of choosing to hate a band you appear to know little about.

I think maybe your attitude to something she likes came across perhaps like you were belittling something that is important to her and therefore belitlling her. Does it really matter if she likes a band you do not like? Try talk it through and make compromises, she doesn't talk about them non-stop and you stop bagging on them.

Some people become attached to their music and for some, it's the only thing that's been there for them.
Give Elliot Minor a try, they're decent people and even if you don't like their music, be appreciative of something she is passtionate about. I hope you two sort it out.
