Skinny Bitch.
Believe it or not, this book, changed my life. It is a book designed to help you eat right, be healthy, and just be happy with yourself and the way you look. You may be thinking that the title is completely stupid, and the picture of the girl on the front cover is totally horrendus, but there's a reason for it.

It's basically just to catch people's eyes. Think, would you really want to read a book if you knew it was all about nutrition and stuff? I think not. Unless you had absolutely nothing to do. It's not your regular nutrition book, and it's deffinately NOT a diet book. They have such potty mouths, and hillarious ways of saying things, it makes it entertaining to read. "This is not a diet. This is a way of life. A way to enjoy food. A way to feel healthy, clean, energized and pure. It's time to reclaim your mind and body. It's time to strut your skinny ass down the street like you're in an episode of Charlie's Angels with some really cool song playing in the background. It's time to prance around in a thong like you rule the world. It's time to get skinny."
It gives you all the truths about the dairy and meat industry. This book played a huge role in me becoming a vegetarian. I hope to become a vegan when I move out. Currently my mom won't let me, and is against me even becoming a vegetarian.
It tells you in (sadly, gruesome detail), how they treat animals in the slaughter house. They take direct quotes from people working there too. It's horrible. Me, being completely against animal cruelty(don't even get me started on the subject), was horrified, disgusted, and I almost started to cry. I knew they treated animals like crap, but not that bad. I had always wanted to become a vegetarian, but I thought I would "die" without meat and dairy. It's been about 5/6 months now since I've eaten meat, and quite frankly, I don't miss it that much. It's very hard to adjust to buying new foods/substitutes, but it's deffinately worth it. I don't mean to spoil a tiny part of the book, but the people in the meat industry even admitted selling horse meat as beef.
I'm not forcing you, and neither is this book(more like, reccomending it), to become a vegan/vegetarian, but at least consider it after reading this book. If you can't buy it, I'd be glad to e-mail it to you. Before I went out and bought the real thing, my dad bought it for me online and I got e-mailed the chapters. If you're interested, I'd be more than happy to send it to you.
It rips apart dairy, meat, soda, splenda, coffee, the dieting industry, aspartame, the atkins diet, the marketing industry etc. It gives you lists of good products and good companies that they prefer. They even give you a bunch of set meals that you can make for yourself. There is another book out there in this 'series', called "Skinny Bitch In The Kitch." I don't have it, but I'd be really interested in reading it.
I found, the beginning of chapter 5, the funniest part. Don't ask me why, but I laughed really hard. It begins to tear apart dairy. "Go suck your mother's tits. Go on. Suck your mother's tits. You think this is ridiculous? It is. Get ready to use your head.
If you are looking to feel good about yourself and be healthy, I highly reccomend this book. I'm leaving it to you to decide if you want to read it, or give it a chance. Just PM me if you want to read it.
Also, don't get the wrong impression of the whole "skinny" thing. Sure you most likely will lose weight, but it's not about that. Not at all. Go up and read what I already wrote, it's about feeling good about your body, being happy with yourself, feeling and being healthy.
It changed my life, and my way of eating. Who knows, it could do the same for you.

I don't know if I'd ever have the motivation to read any book like this, but it does sound interesting. I've learned enough about food at school and I'm tired of it. If you wanna be a vegan though, that's great. I respect that you're a vegetarian too. As long as you're still getting what you need in other ways it isn't much of a problem. Nice blog though. I bet this book could help out a lot of people on here.
