Its the end of the world as we know it.
Scrolling through the message boards, I came across a topic. The end of the world. I've heard the stories about how it's going to end in 2012 or whatever, or we're going to pollute ourselves to death.
Pollution isn't the main issue in the world. That's probably what we should stop worrying about for the time being.
The world today is fueled by violence.
There's more crime going on all over the world. On the news for a city near by me, teenagers are running amuck with baseball bats and beating and robbing innocent people. More and more people are turning to violence just because that's the generation they've grown up in.
Global warming isn't what's going to kill us. We're the ones killing ourselves. If this gets even more out of hand, someone's going to blow someone else's country up, the economy will blow to hell and soon every other country is fucked.
Pardon my Chinese.
But haven't you people noticed these things?

El oh el @ me writing a blog out of my post in that topic D:

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds,
snakes, an aeroplanes, Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world
serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs. Feed
it off an aux speak, grunt, no, strength, Ladder
start to clatter with fear fight down height. Wire
in a fire, representing seven games, a government
for hire and a combat site. Left of west and coming in
a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team
by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.
Look at that low playing! Fine, then. Uh oh,
overflow, population, common food, but it'll do. Save
yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs,
listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and
the revered and the right, right. You vitriolic,
patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty
psyched.

Yeah, there's also a reason why we aren't allowed to just go buy guns. America should do the same, a lot less people who be dying. And that guy on the bus, he was probably crazy. Just shows you, don't fall asleep on greyhound buses.

I said it before and I'll say it again:
It said nowhere on that thread ANYTHING about global warming.
Still, you got a point.

When people start running around blowing each other up, raping each other, shooting up schools and shooting innocent people: I am going to LAUGH!
Because when everything on earth dies, and only the smart and sensible people are left, I am going to walk around to every single dead body and say 'SLAPPY TOLD YOU SO, b*tch!"
And to Who Stole My Pants? ...
Canada is pretty screwy too. Last week, some guy cut off another guys head on a bus... for no apparent reason.
But from what I've seen, we're better off than ALOT of places.
-is proud to be a Canadian-

This is why I plan on moving to Canada. They actually seem to have their heads screwed on right. :)

And that's why we need to do something about it.

I don't believe that 2012 thing, people have said that the world was going to end many times and it never did. And plus, it's not like the myans said themselves "The world is going to end on December 12th, 2012"
I AM AMANDA, August 12th, 2008 at 05:06:45am
i think it was the mayans who said the world would end on december 12 2012.
i kind of believe it.

Yeah, we're just all around self-destructing. Pollution, bombing, wars, and violence.
The world isn't nessisarily going to literally end, but our self-destruction will end life as we know it.
It's our own fault. as we've evolved, we've learnt new things. We invented weapons to help us catch food. Then we learned we could use them against each other, then fights came, battles, then wars.
Pollution and global warming are products of short-term thinking. If the person who had invented the car had said, "oh look, there's nasty stuff comming out of the endpipe, that could do some damage someday!" we would have less pollution.
We're slowly killing ourselves, and untill the majority of us realize that, it's all going downhill from here.
I'd say that's a good incentive to live life to it's fullest every single day, because you never know what might happen tomorrow.

Idc how the world ends, just as long as I'm old and dead when it happens : ) But yeah. I've noticed how people are just a lot more violent these days. And honestly, I'm more afraid of an alien invasion.
