This guy
honestly made my last few days.
I know I've been talking about him quite a lot lately, but I think he's great.
His name is Johan Palm, he's 16 years old and comes from Mjölby, Sweden. (thirty minutes from me ;D) He's competing in (Swedish) Idol 2008, and he's the best I've ever seen on Idol. Indeed. He might not be the best singer among the contestants, but he's got enough charm to keep the entire world alive, sings and plays the songs his way, he seems very sweet and, who could guess, he's gorgeous. I think he's so brave for being himself, not ashamed of his music or style, keeping his back straight even though there are losers throwing random shit. Even if you're some sort of Idol-hater or something, I think you should give him a chance. He's amazing to me :]
This contains just a little of his version of Knocking On Heaven's Door, his audition with The Drugs Don't Work by the Verve and him singing Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis which is my personal favorite of what he's done so far.
Just a lot of playing around from 1:57 and on, but that's where you start thinking he seems nice and a lot of fun. Oh GSBians, if you only knew Swedish 8] you should watch it anyway!
This was aired yesterday, his version of When You Were Young by The Killers. I admit that this is not the best side of his voice, he dances like "a drunk pensioner" but still... you've got to love this guy, just like the judges said :>
