Another blog on my amazing obsession with music.
So I wrote one before about how awesome music is and how it's so hard not to live without it or whatever. Not many people took interest in it.
But oh well.
So I've been listening to the radio since about 8:30 this morning, waiting for chances to call in for concert tickets and whatnot. My mom came down at about 10 and scolded me for having it turned up so loud, but I was also working on homework and if I get too into that, I block out everything. So I had my radio blasting and as soon as I heard Pablo say to call in for Saliva tickets and a chance to be submitted in with others to win a season long concert pass, I was done with the homework and I pressed down the speed dial for 93X.
In order to win something on this radio station, you have to be caller 21.
And some of you know that I'm doing really well with the almost being 21, because I've almost won so many pairs of tickets before, but I was number 20 and I took my frustrations and brought them here D: I almost won AC/DC rockstar suit tickets. Which means you get to be like up front and everything and it's freaking amazing.
So I called in for the whole Saliva/concert pass deal.
I was caller 22.
And again with the frustrations; GKAHWTORHEATUHASHF#*htuewhTO*AWtkdiohtgOAS GRR.
My mom constantly yells at me for my more than obsession with music. My mp3 player was going all screwy on Thursday and I asked her if I could change the radio to something I liked.
She said no, I spend too much time listening to music.
And she could be right. I mean after all, I listen to it when I wake up in the morning, I listen to it getting ready for school, I listen on my way to school, in school and after school. I even listen to it to fall asleep at night.
She tells me on a pretty much regular basis now that I'm not getting enough sleep, cause my brain can never take a break.
It might be true and all, but I've tried not listening to it to fall asleep and that just causes me to stay up longer, cause I have nothing to soothe me to sleep and all I hear is the critters running through my walls
Music to me is probably way beyond the obsession state. I talk about it nonstop, I sing along nonstop and the only way for me not to talk about it, which isn't really true, cause I'm still talking about it, is when people talk about all these bands that just got big like within the past four years..
I mean, yeah it's still music and all, but some of those bands claim to be punk rock, and to me they don't sound at all rock-ish.
I'm stuck in the age of the oldies.
Well, the oldies and up to about 2001 D:
So when people talk about how awesome 3OH!3 is and how rockin' Paramore is, I can't keep up a conversation with them, because I don't listen to bands like that D: I mean I've been hearing them more and more now, but I just don't show much interest in some band that so many people obsess over..
But like I said in my profile; Music is the antidote that gets me by, something strong like a drug that gets me high. And thank you Crossfade for those amazing words of awesome

The radio's crap to me anymore. My mom cusses me out for listening to my iPod 24/7. Moms will never understand the importance of music in our lives.
