Liberals, Abortion, Fact, And Opinion.
A friend of mine once wrote the following:
"Liberals don’t mind ripping out an unborn child out of a womb, yet they strongly oppose the death sentence, which is only given to those who have killed, and would easily kill again."
And, frankly, I agree with her. In my honest opinion, abortion is murder. The unborn children are literally defenseless, and have absolutely no choice in the matter. Yet they die every day, because there are politicians that legalize the murder of babies in the womb, and doctors that will actually do the deed.
Yes, I admit that this is a controversial subject. I know a lot of you will not agree with me, or at least not fully; but I'm not asking you too. I am only stating my opinion in hopes that you will read and understand a bit of where I am coming from. Acceptance is not where i am going with this, just facts and opinion.
You may think I am a conservative, but I dont fit myself into any political party. I am who I am, and I think what I will. Whatever is best for the country and the people. Frankly, I think that there should be a death sentence, and that abortion should be illegal. I mean, think about it. If you think you need an abortion, you should have thought about contraceptives before you got knocked up. There is always something you can do: safe sex or adoption. There are many people, like myself that do not want to have children by birth, or that can't have them.
and I know you are thinking "what about women and teens that are raped and get pregnant?"
and as I said, thats what adoption is for.
I talked to someone once that tried telling me that if you are the baby of a rapist and a victim, that you are as bad as they are, that you cant beat DNA. But I'm proof that you can, my father was an abusive bastard; I'm not. All you have to do is want to change and do something to keep yourself from being that way. And you won't turn out like your mother or father. We are all different people, and we all have minds of our own. DNA is not everything. Although it is a lot, it gives you looks, and brains, but not behavior. You assume whatever environment you were raised in.

Because the thing isn't even conscious yet. It can't make a freaking decision. It can't feel anything and would you rather it grow up for it to make a decision and then kill it? ha.

i dont agree with this at all. but im kinda sick of argueing about this cause we all have our opinions, dont we now.
all im saying is.. women should have the choice. no one shoud be made to carry a baby they dont want. babies are barely anything when they're aborted. they dont know anything about it.
i say meat is a murder, yet i dont see you defending animal rights.
sometimes it's better for the child to be aborted.
and condoms dont always work.

If America's so 'free' then why can't we protest in front of a place for our freedom of speech? Or stand around in front of a store because we want to? Shouldn't we have the freedom to stand where we want, and say/protest what we want? America the free my ass, we aren't as free as we look.
And again: If it's such a freedom of choice, why doesn't the baby have the choice to LIVE? It's the child's body, not the mother's. It's not her life that's being ended. She's not the one being killed.

"i don't see why you or anyone else should give a sh*t whether or not someone gets an abortion." because we have the "freedom" to stand up for what we believe is wrong. we have the freedom of speech in america, too. i have every right to argue that abortion is wrong, just like you have every right to stand there and argue me. and you actually admitted that abortion is murder, "i understand that abortion means killing another human life." secondly, learn how to handle a debate politely. saying "so you can go and stick you're pro-life ideas up you're goddamned ass for all i f*cking care" makes you look like foolish, spoiled, and disrespectful.

Hey, like, a foetus isn't sentient for a certain amount of time so how is it any different to killing a plant until then?
Also, are you all vegetarian?
And the potential life argument is illogical and bullsh*t.
Abortion is a terrible thing but it isn't immoral to do it before the baby is aware of its own existence (which is 24 weeks? I'm not sure, if someone could clarify.)

I strongly disagree with abortion, but I believe it's a person's choice.
My dad explained liberalism to me -
You can have abortions but no death sentence. You can have health class but you can't google porn in school. You can slaughter millions of animals unless they're endangered.
Liberalism is, to me, a huge f*cking contradiction that should be much less confusing at the very least.

I'm not really big on this whole abortion thing, I don't support it at all. I think it's stupid, and I think people are stupid for wanting to kill helpless children.
But 1, it's their own fault this happened, in most cases, and two it gives them no right to kill the kid. If they don't want it, there are hundreds of families looking for children to adopt D:
But then again, I wouldn't try and change people's minds if they asked me to take them to the abortion clinic. :file: It's not any of my business, and it's honestly their choice.

dude, the rapist could have had an STD that could've infected the baby and the mother. i'm pro-choice because America stands for freedom, and having the right to get an abortion IS freedom. this topic pisses me off to argue about. first of all, i don't see why you or anyone else should give a sh*t whether or not someone gets an abortion. it is NOT effecting you in any way whatsoever. i understand that abortion means killing another human life but that is up to the woman and her god if she can get an abortion. not you, me, or anyone else on here. like i said rights=freedom. a right to abortion is a right. and you know what? some people can't afford to pay for the hospital where the baby is born, what happens during the pregnancy and more. and i agree with Miley Cyrus. however you have to admit that if abortion was illegalized tons of very dangerous and illegal abortions would occur.
