Musings on WWII, WWIII, the Apocolypse, and Public Speaking
World War Two was a desolate part of our history. Many families died, including my own.
And what do you think is going to happen again? People have some strange knack for injustice and killing. Sick, detestable, deplorable? Yes. True? Absolutely.
Whenever I try to see ahead, I get glimpses of fire, blood, dictatorship, death, decay, tyrrany. I see bombs and a resistance movement that's doomed from the start, and they know it, but they resolve to take as many people with them as they can. I see the same executions and hate and deplorable acts that there were then.
Some say that Hitler, if he did nothing else, helped people see what hate and prejudice and racism can do.
No one really learned, because there's still hate, prejudice, racism.
I don't think anyone really understands. It's not just Hitler. There were many leaders throughout history that were like him. They wanted power, and they got it. They were good speakers.
How many movies have you seen in which there's one person standing, elevated, in the middle of a large crowd, talking? The people are hanging on his [sometimes her] every word. And then? Then the fighting begins. It doesnt' even have to be physical fighting. In Les Miserables, [the movie] Maruis stood in front of the crowd and led a f*cking revolution! Martin Luther King? Excellent speaker. Harvey Milk? Excellent speaker. These men didn't want evil, only equality. Which, after their deaths, was more or less achieved. They got what they set out for because they could work the crowd. Charles Manson? Amazing public speaker. Even on drugs he got his message across.
Barack Obama is an excellent public speaker. And we'll just have to see what he brings us.
My point is, if you can get the crowd, and you can appeal to the crowd, you can bend and use the crowd. Work the crowd and they work for you.
Hitler made people realize that. All they need is the crowd. All they need is to lie and lie well. That in itself is a terrible evil, because who knows where it will bring us?
I know how to work a crowd. I know how to get people to succumb to my will. And believe me, if I have to, I will use that power. But only if I need to. If my view of the future is correct, which it has been before, then we're in for tyrrany and dictatorship worldwide. We're in for a World War Three. And it won't be pretty. We're in for an apocolypse. And if that happens, I will resist. If anyone wants to join me, they can. I know what people I need and I know how to get them. From there, all I need is people. And I know I'm not the only one.
You see what I mean? Someone knows what they want, they know how to work the crowd, they get what they want. Adolf Hitler was a deplorable man. But he knew how to get what he wanted. And maybe that makes him even worse.

@ Blarg! I think you're talking about Kim Jong-il.
I agree with this blog. The world is a really scary place and I pray that I'm not here to see WW3, which will inevitably happen.

If everyone believes a public speaker, and follows him/her exactly, what happens if they fail? I don't wanna think about what kinda of things can happen in this world.

I forgot his name, but the leader or North Korea has also pulled that kinda thing VERY successfully. Even better than Hitler. His entire country is in the palm of his hands, and they'll trust in him and do anything he says.
