pregnancy.. no thank you
im not sure where im going with this.. i just wanted to share some thoughts and idk where else to post a blog than here.
since it seems like everyone has been so pregnant lately, i cant avoid thinking about it, and how it makes me feel disgusted. i do find the thought of being a parent apealing on some level, but everything that comes with it just makes me wonder why people do it. cant be worth it. not to mention the whole process of being pregnant is absolutely disgusting. i cant personally imagine i would ever want to put myself trough that. and how babies are so ugly to me. like people say "oh how cute baby." and i just cant relate one bit. i dont feel a need to touch or hold babies and i really dont think its a passing phase. im happy when babies stay as far way from me as possible. it does make me wonder how lonely im gonna be when im old, but screw it. im not gonna throw my life away for that.
and im also gonna see my new baby cousin for the first time soon. i guess i should pretend like i care, but i just dont know if i can.
babies really do make me think of parasites.
am i sick or is the world?

xD I didn't mean it that way.
I meant that a lot of pregnant woman don't really fancy being shagged during pregnancy.

HOWEVER.... the "love making" department is completly out of bounds after 3 months.
Actually it's safe to have sex during every stage of pregnancy (although I wouldn't try during labour), if the pregnancy is considered 'normal' and Low Risk. It's even recommened around the due date as the increased hormone levels are said to help induce labour.
Of course you'd need her to agree to it as well, which is probably the most difficult task.

Don't always leave stretch marks and you can do plenty if you're careful

I've never been a pregnancy person. I mean, people always say how beautiful its is. Yes I guess its beautiful that your having a kid but when your pregnant it leaves stretch marks and you can hardly do anythin without harming the baby. My sister is pregnant atm and she always says that I should have a baby. I'M NEARLY 17 4 GODS SAKE lol. I've never even wanted 2 be a mum. I cant see wats so good about babies. I dont se anythin cute and pretty all they do is cry and s**t lol

Uhm well as I see pregnancy (as in two people who agree on having children and want them) as a cool thing, I accept everyone's opinion.
As long as you don't, like, hit babies... I'm okay with you having this opinion.
;)

"However I don't think we can blame things like this on a language barrier." Perhaps, but it would depend on each persons ability ect ect... and it starts getting too complicated for my already exhausted mind.
However, at least she says what is on her mind. I know too many people who will 'beat around the bush' to try not to offend people and then lose the true feeling in what they are saying.... but I'm starting to ramble and this discussion feels like it is going to start chasing it's own tail, as it were.
So I shall leave it as such, somethings can be said better, but I would rather know how someone truely feels, in their own words, than to have them lose their feelings in worrying about pleasing everyone (which we all know is impossible) by wording it differently.

you are not alone
kinda
I find the thought of pregnancy slightly disgusting too, even though it's a wonderful thing to give birth to another human being and all that stuff

Of course we all say things we later think we could've said alot better or differently but that's life, we live and learn. =)
Oh absolutely.
However I don't think we can blame things like this on a language barrier.

I know what you mean, but I feel I should inform you of two things.
Firstly Miss N is Finnish and it's hard for any person to say exactly what they want in their second language. I suppose i have the advantage of have been talking to her for quite a while now.
And secondly the parasite reference is pretty much ,entirely my fault. I constantly refer to babies as parasites as, in a twisted way, that's what they are (to me). And I think that's rubbed off on Miss N lol.

Well lets just say I think "I can understand people wanting kids, but it just isn't for me." would have been a whole lot nicer than "i cant personally imagine i would ever want to put myself trough that. and how babies are so ugly to me." or "babies really do make me think of parasites. "
little soul., February 7th, 2010 at 01:55:14am
Well that's fair enough, but that's not what you said in the two previous comments at all.
Comrade182, February 7th, 2010 at 01:46:00am
I'm not against expressing feelings, which is why I commented.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with disliking children, I was just expressing my feeling that she was rude and bitter.
little soul., February 7th, 2010 at 01:38:42am
I completely agree with Miss N on this. While there is some appeal to having children, for the most part I'd prefer not to thanks. I can understand people wanting kids, but it just isn't for me.
Also....
@ fourplay - I think this is more an expression of feeling rather than debate. There is no arguement, just feeling. You also contradict yourself in your first comment saying that, she cannot see things from "a different point of view", then say she is being vile.... which means you can't see or accept her viewpoint either. Furthermore, the comments posted and the blog are about seperate issues, don't confuse them.
Perhaps you should take that into consideration before commenting further.
