5 things my fellow GSBians have taught me

i was thinking about how GSB has made my life better, not just by helping me not die of bordom but that im more wiser now =D

1. Ethnic stereotypes don’t apply to teenagers: they don’t apply much at all, but especially with teenagers. We are all a bunch of silly kids who like to talk about sex, despite what country we are from.

2. You can still befriend people with different political views: all my friends at school have very similar political views, on GSB there are cool people with different political views then me that are still cool, Im not saying Im friends with all the uber-bushfans (not that there are much here.) but being told that “Tony Blair pwns my ass” isn’t a big deal.

3. Not all Green Day fans are similar: I expected everyone to have the same political views, and for everyone to like the same bands, that’s not true. I’ve found that GSBians like music from NSNYC to the sex pistols, and were different in lots of other ways to.

4. Age is an attitude: GSB is the only place I’ve seen were 13 year olds can befriend 20 year olds, and the best thing is that it doesn’t even matter unless you’re asking for homework help.

5. Croatians pwn: yes they do, and you can’t deny it.
