im a cutter too... i have been for like what 2 years now... and i love it... i dont know why people make big deals about it either... i do dissagree with the ones who cut for attention... or do it just becuase its the "in" thing to do... for one honestly i do see things wrong with doing it... but its a coping method for me... i used it to live through my closest friends deaths... and my family and not being accepted because in fact i am a lesbian... but it just helps me and i cant get enough of it... though i have cut down alot on cutting and i use it now only when i need to... i dont think that "we" should be looked down on for doing it... what about people who shop to get away from things... or people who play sports and take it out on that.. .that could be dangrous...

most people actually commit suicide becasue their life may seem difficult at that moment but if they waited a couple of days, weeks, months, years... then their life will eventually get better. Also people aren't drepressed so that they can fit in with the goth, punk, and emo steriotypes, it uaslly means that they are feeling bad because of problems at home or they got in a fight with their friends or got dumped. Like god their wil be more people then just that one person you eventually get over it. Also i was suicidal at once.. twice.. fine a lot of times but now i am over it and trust me i am so happy i didn't do what i was planning to do to myself i thought there several times while sleeping of how easy it would be to get rid of the painbut now that i reflect back on that i am greatfull that i didn't take itone step closer to the edge. well i said what i wanted...

I now have a depressing story that will haunt many peoples memory for a long time. There was a freshman named Matt. Lots of friends. Real nice guy. However his home life was not like this at all. His dad abused his mom, and his dad and him fought constantly. One day he was at a foot ball game but went home for his dad yelled at him to come home. Once he got home they yelled and his dad didn't let him go back to the game. His parents went out shopping and then he shot himself right on the temple of his head when his parents were gone. Imagine coming home to see your child dead & bleeding on your floor when you come home. At the funeral yesterday near the end they showed a slide show with all of these pictures of him. One of the last ones was with him and his girlfriend at homecoming. My friend Juliana just started bawling. I felt horrid for her when she was telling me about it. It depresses both me and my friends on such a great loss.

i could neve rcommit suicice. well unless i'm very broken lol...n i'm not lol....tho i sometimes cut myself lol, usualy it's by accident, sometime si just cut myself with a broken nail lol...but the pain sometimems makes me feel bettter.. soemtimes, i mean. when i'm angry. n i cna't let it out on somebodt.

No offence, but just because your mother said "It's such a waste", it's not proving that suicide is not an answer. I personally think that suicide is God's decision and just one of the ways to end someone's life, a part of someone's fate (if fate exists). Even if you don't believe in that, still, if someone wants to end their life, I think they have a right to do it. It might be selfish or stupid, but 65% of things we do in life are selfish or stupid.
