Suicide and self harm!

I have no idea what I did to deserve the pain God's putting me through right now...

Now i dont want to seem flippant here, but i dont beleive you can blame your problems on 'God'. Maybe its just the fact i dont beleive in God. But can you really cite a faceless, invisible entity such as God for your problems? Its your life, and you must take some of the blame for it. By the way, i don't know if im making sense here at all. But hopefully you know what i mean.

my brother was gonna kill himself, but he didnt because he thought of me.
At the moment I heard that I started crying.
He said he was gonna go and roll over his truck or crash into someone. But he didnt he said he didnt do it only cause of me.

Exactly... A wise man (a comedian, but wise) once said, "Suicide is our way of saying to God, 'You can't fire me. I quit.'" But why do we need to tell that to any Supreme Being, if there is one? He/She/It/Whatever most likely didn't set out to ruin your life. (See "Bruce Almighty" if you haven't, while I'm thinking about God and a guy's life.) It's people around you, or *gasp, shriek, aieeee!* YOUR OWN GODDAM SELF. Look around you, see what you can change before you go and pull that trigger.

well said, and I dont how things could get so bad that the only way out is puling the trigger....you know? I have had many thoughts of Suicide but what really scares me is dont wana be remembered as the girl taht shot her self when i die, i want to die in my sleep, as a peaceful old lady. It is also an unfogivabe sin, Im very religious so i cant picture going to hell. Plus when people kill themselves i think that they are being selfish, i mean look at all the poor people, people who dont have enogh money to feed themselfs, people who's kids work in sweat shops, Just think about thiere lifes, and then look at yours..sure it my not be great but you may be able to pay for new clothes, and are able to go to the doctor's when yo uare sick..... and now your taking away your life taht possibly might be better taht most just because your mom/ dad yelled at you...or your boy frined/girlfriend broke up with you.. its not worth it

The reasons for killing yourself aren't as easy as you claimed them to be. And I can't see that selfish-thing either, because isn't it good to stop the whining? No one wants to listen that person whining forever. And if they're happy when dead, then let them die. People's problems can't be compared.

I'm not trying to bash your opinion, I'm just so for suicide so it's hard to understand your point of view. But I shall try to understand.

i've thought about it a bunch but not like thoughts like "oh im gonna kill myself" and i have no desire to even cut so i think im safe for a while

amanda i found out my brothers in jail cause they said he stabbed someone ;_; But he didnt, they've got alot o witnesses that say he didnt! They wont let him out.

To everyone - I said "God's putting me through this..." simply because it is my peronal belief that God takes part in everything that is happening in a person's life. I don't blame God! No! I might as well say "Life's putting me through..." and to me it would meen the same thing. It's not putting the blame on someone, it's just that God for me is a huge part of my life. If you don't believe in God or believe in a different way than me, of course, you'll think I'm just finding someone to blame, but that's not what it is for me.
I'm not trying to find excuses, I'm just trying to explain that that was not what I meant.

I agree, you would have to be so sure that you hated life to take your own. But that's also why I think it's lazy. You could just sit and wait through life until things got all better, but you'd rather just kill yourself instead of trying to succeed?

Things don't tend to get better by just sitting and waiting. Sometimes the problem is that there's nothing to do but to sit and wait.

If sitting and waiting isn't lazy, then what is? You kind of denyed yourself what you said in the sentence before.

I didn't mean literally sitting and waiting. I meant living through whatever you're going through and trying to make it better instead of just giving up. Which is, as many many many people have agreed, the essence of suicide.

if everyone who thought about suicide actually did it, there will be next to no people in the world. Even BJA has admitted that he thought about suicide and Jakoby from papa roach was a cutter at times and look where they are now.

thats just taking a example from two peoples lifes .... yea i understand things can get better for people but for some people things just arnt going to get better ...some things may get worse ...im not for sucide but im not against it either i believe that suicide is someones choice ...personally if my mate tried to kill herself (which she did but meh) i would miss her so much but if that was what she wanted then ...i guess id jsut have to live with that

To be honest, if for some bizzare reason, I ended up commiting suicide, i'd be very dissapointed in myself. Disspointed I just 'gave up' and didnt try to fight it. And, nobody knows what happens after death, so no matter how bad you think your life on earth is, it could always be worse. Its not a chance i'd be willing to take.

that does not prove anything just because your right about one person dosnt mean its the same for everyone else

yeah ok i will conceed that i am not right about everyone but surely if you decided to kill yourself then thats just a waste

Dad being put in prison for murder.

I dont no if this was all that was what all was what was happining at the time but it certinly made me feel depressed and Suicidal.
