I would be inclined to say Peppermint, but i dont want to go off on another tangent... Today, i read a quote which i thought made a lot of sense, by E.M Forster; ". . . the crime of suicide lies rather in its disregard for the feelings of those whom we leave behind.". It seems pretty relevant to this topic.

I'm planning on writing a story about someone commiting suicide and looking back on everyone they've left behind and how it affects them.

Argh... I forgot the point of that post. Hopefully it'll put across the point of view that no matter how much suicide may seem like the answer, it's probably one of those things the people would change in the end, if they could.
I don't know if it's true, but it's how I see it.

So, "It's a Wonderful Life" but George kills himself in the end? Interesting. If it doesn't have a happy ending, nobody'll see it coming.

I dunno... but someone was telling me about a book they read about a girl who was murdered and was looking down on everyone after, and I thought 'wow. That would be so much better with suicide' and decided to write something about it

So looking down from heaven, then? Or maybe looking up from Hell or even Limbo.

Agh! There was some book that took place mostly in Limbo, but I can't think of the name...

Yeah.... or I might just skip the whole thing and have it [I haven't decided to do it as a girl/boy POV yet] drifting around on Earth not able to do anything.

Sounds like a cool book.

I dabble more in sci fi and humor myself...realistic fiction is something I haven't explored as of yet. I was thinking about doing a superhero book soon...

Awesome.... I mostly just write slash Rolling Eyes but I'm getting kind of sick of it. I still like it, but I'm just getting bored of writing it all the time. I'm starting to write more weird things.... I wrote one about a girl who cut herself because when she did she felt like she was another person... and I'm writing that suicide one soon.
That one about the girl's in the stories thread somewhere I think... Hmm.

My sentiments exactly. It was...uncool. And then a friend of mine sent me HER slashfic, but kept callign me a dumbass because I didn't know what it was called in Japanese, which is what she refers to it by because she writes anime slashfic. Even worse.

I don't like slash if it's anime, or fictional people (that LOTR one, or Harry Potter. It's nasty)
I only really like it if it's realistic.... eh. Very off topic lol.

Now, if you had read/quoted my post which was in reply to Just As If, we wouldnt still be discussing this...i made my thoughts pretty clear there. So i dont think there is any need for further comment, unless you would like me to continue. Again, please can you refrain from insulting me. I find it offensive. And it adds nothing to the 'discussion'.

The discussion with Just Like As If happenined while I was writing the reply to your previous post. You're right though, if I caught it before replying my attitude would have been different.
As for insulting...well, you were the first one to call me awkward and accuse me or something I never did. It probably makes you sound all cool and great that you point out those deadly sins of mine, but in reality you're the one who started the whole offending thing. Now I'm awkward, you're weird and we both look like 2 idiots trying to sound all wise and grown up. Fuck it all. Lets agree to differ, I'm sorry if I offended you. Peace?

Okay. I wouldn't take awkwardness as an insult though. Perhaps strong minded or determined would have been a better choice of word. To hell with me and my woeful vocabulary!. I shall make a conscious effort to choose my words better in the future. Cool

I have a poem on that. It's pretty optimistic in a lot of ways.

One of the most important aspects of suicide is leaving people behind. That's what stops a lot of people. I mean, if you really have no one to leave behind, I know why you decided to kill yourself.

Well, I don't find "weird" insulting either. I get called that a lot. Better weird than average (whatever that means).
