no, you missed the point...i mean the important one...cuz you got the obvious one. I FEEL VIOLATED. being female and having to come into contact with that in the media...its...frustrating...i cant get over the fact that people (guys...no offense, but its true) are talking to my breasts and not ME. my opinions mean nothing, and my body is whats important. I FEEL VIOLATED. i do have eyes, you know. and a brain for that matter.

Most of them are. Most girls at my school have boyfriends, and hats just because they want to have boyfriends they can maek out with, not because they like them. And they dont need to have only one boyfriend either. And, my friends tries to fix me up with guys I dont even know -_- Why just not live their childhood, and start with that when theyre 15, atleast. And, yes, everyone dresses too slutty.

well i think as a counter attack on the media...i shoudl start dressing in shirts that barely cover my boobs and skirts so short they are almost tube tops...i say this as a counter attack because i will be the first to admit to the fact that my body has some excess fat on it...and im fine with that....a good share of ppl arent thoguh...they see it as...icky....well i wanna see how quickt he styles change when they see this body (as happy as i am with it) in the cloths that they design to fit twigs and sluts...i think all of the 'bigger' girls shoudl ban together and do this....i think the cloths will literally fall back on these girls/women

you shouldnt have to do something like that to make that point though! that just furthers the whole idea that we have to show EVERYTHING to get the attention we need to make a point and create change...i really think that girls need to be taught that they should respect themselves and that they dont have to show every inch of their bodies to be heard...everyone needs to learn that...its not right to tell us otherwise. im so TIRED of it...!

of course girls should learn to respect themselves! of course! but what i think is so annoying is when these magazines that are constantly showing these skinny little things and telling how to lose 2o lbs in a month get on their high horses and have an entire magazine that is all about how girls shoudlnt give in to negative pressure about their body image....it is so...frustrating...cause if they didnt have all these skinny twigs plastered all over their magazines and stuff, then these girls wouldnt think they needed to resort to shoving their fingers down thier throats adn starving themselves to be attractive to guys...which is a whole other story so i wont even go there...but yeah the magazines piss me off...if u couldnt tell...

i like that this went from the media sucks to guys suck...yep...but yeah...every teen magazine...EVERY SINGLE ONE promotes the same hypocritical thing...its not worth it...jeez...theyre like "be happy with what you look like" and in the same issue "the perfect jeans for your body" and its a series of twiggy models and celebrities. the most recent issue of teen people for example...it runs articles on how we should embrace our body types AND tips for flirting with guys who dont care what you think, but what you look like...it drives me nuts!!!!!

if any of u ppl are from england then u might have seen the recent video for united nations( crappy music ) it has girls who are working in the office with half there clothes off sitting at there desks sucking the end of there pen and glassses to make them look sexy loads of make up on there faces and the guy is singing then later on in the music video there in this confrence room and he looks like he is telling them bout the job and stuff and there sitting there being pretty acting all dumb stupid and sexy and then after taht all the girls go in the lift and give the guy a lap dance one at a time i think this is discraceful this is not only showing half way up the girls skirts but showing young kids that what you do at work is not work but dance around you bosses have sex with them to get a higher promotion and dress very slutty this is out of order but it is reality and what kids are going ot be growing up to think its allright to act this way and let guys touch you and treat you this way when its NOT !!!!!!!!!!!

i am only in my teens and i see people either trying to grow up fast and people who are trying not to grow up as fast. there is one girl who is only 12 years old in my school who has already had a abortion. he boyfriend is a boy who has already lefthe school and who has dated someone i know well and i do find it shocking that the whole school knows as well as my mother who works at my school, i personaly think that she is trying to grow up a bit fast.
