Are girls growing up too fast?

It is stupid. a 11 years girl should not wear make up and such things ?
I mean ! come on she isn't a really teenager yet. and if she is she is uot fast I must say !

One of my friends in primary school was having sex and everything, with so many different boyfriends. I think she lost her virginity at about 10. One of her boyfriends was 18, when she was 11. She was always drunk, and smoking, and still is. She goes to a different school now, so i dont see her much. But when i do, she dresses short skirts, and smoking a lot.

I don't think short skirts have anything to do with kids growing up fast, or being a whore.

It just seems like thats the whole trend in this thread.

I think grown up means you are mature, you make your own decisions, you are fairly world wise.

Short skirts, lots of make up, jewlery, mobile phones and boyfriends have nothing to do with being grown up.

These people are just trying to immatate what they see older girls do. The older girls are trying to be cool, and act like the older girls. The older girls are mostly just over the whole thing, and don't really care any more.

And that is my view.

Make up and cell phones are fine, I would worry about more extreme things more than those.

That's a good point.

I would say influences. Music is a big impact, and the world around them. My mom says the child is a reflection of the parent, and a lot of the girls at my school don't have a good home life because of this reason. I think it's a monkey see, monkey do thing. It isn't all music though. I mean, look at models and the modeling industry. If these girls are like me and watch America's Nexy Top Model, they'll want to get in to all of this make-up and drama.

My point wasn't so much that every girl who watches ANTM is a slut, it was just saying that a lot of young girls are indeed gullible and buy in to little things like that because that's what others may like or they think it's pretty.

And yes, I do know about this whole deal about sex. That's what I hate the most.

It was on the news just last night that a 10 year old girl in Upper Saint Clair, not far from where I live, held a protest because her school would not let her wear a mini-skirt.

The skirt, in my opinion was too short for her, being only ten. But that she held a protest to wear it, she got points for that. Shes growing up fast in the good way too, it seems that way to me

Holy crap! Did she do anything about it??? That is terrible. The first rule of sex when you are young is not to have sex at all because you will regret it and if you get pregnant at a young age how can you support the child? Your still in highschool and you need to focus on your studies to make it somewhere in life. Most jobs require a highschool deploma or a college education.

There are 2 freshman girls at my school who are pregnant. Last year a 7th GRADER got pregnant. People, not just girls, are sluts. Have some self control. Geez.
