Honestly, there's nothing okay with a twelve year old having a kid. I don't know where you live, but where I live its illegal to have sex before 16. Do you think a twelve year old understands the importance of doing something like that? Did the girl even use protection? I'm not prude, I'm just saying if you told that girl knew she was going to get pregnant before she had sex I don't think she would have done it. Not only that, but its not fair for the kid who's never going to have a normal life. When that baby is starting kindergarten her mom will just be graduating from high school.
..if she had a kid she obviously didn't use protection.

Yeah. It's unfair for perfectly resopnsible people to be called idiots just for using proper protection and still getting pregnant.
look at your ava.
she is wearing next to nothing; its jsut as suggestive as the PCD
What Dita and the Pussy Cat dolls do is very different, and I gurantee you Dita's burlesque shows are way more 'suggestive' than anything the pussycat dolls could ever even try and do.
i am aware of this. and i have nothing against Dita nor the PCD.
and thats my point.
its ok for kids [yes kids, people here are around 14,15,16] to love her but call out the PCD for doing almost the same thing?
bothers me a bit

Condoms only protect you like 90% of the time.
I learned that while watching Friends.
I love that one. And Joey pulls out his pack of condoms.
Yah. That was funny. I love the New Year's episode where Monica and Ross do that dance. SO funny.

many years ago girls were having children at 11/12 yrs old, they had to, tomake sure that the human race carried on, not saying that it is ok for everyone, but the media are making girls grow faste, the media and people who make clothing

Stop using the media as a scapegaot. Who makes the media popular? Who reads or listens to the media? We do. It's our choice. No one forces you to pick up a magazine.

some people mature faster than others.
some people are ready for sex at 13,14,15
I really don't understand you at all. Please can you just explain what you said?
So you're saying that people are ready for sex at 13, but then 16 year olds are still kids?
Yeah, I'm really not getting my head around it.

Aside from wearing skimpy clothes and expensive gadgets, girls sometimes are forced to grow up fast. What about all the families where the parents die and leave 5 children to take care of themselves? Girl or boy, the oldest may have to assume the position of a parent and take care of the other four. In third world and developing areas, girls are married off. Is a 14 year old ready to keep a marriage running and take care of a husband? Doubt it. These girls are also forced to bear children early in their marriage. Can a young body sustain another human life? As far as I know, it's pretty damn hard and these girls don't have the comfort of fruit juices for the baby's immune system and stuff.
A girl in my school, she's 13, and is pregnant with twins. She didn't tell her parents til after the date to get an abortion, because she planned it, said it made her look older and more mature...
She's been told that it could kill her, and it makes me sick that although she knew the risks, she's putting herself through it just to look good!

Right, you think that having twins at 13 makes you look good, huh? Can you please explain that logic to me?

It's people saying stuff like that who are making it true.

yeah. it does sound confusing
i use the word 'kid' as a general term. maybe i should of said something else.
its hard to explain.
i do believe some kids are ready for sex at 13,14, and 15
the other part wasn't really about sex at all more about people calling out the pussy cat dolls for being so suggestive and girls trying to copy it. i just thought it was odd. i see both thing differently i guess.

Aren't these people forced to grow up too early?
I agree with you.
When most people discuss issues like these, they naturally think about their own environment, where they live, and the places they know about.
When i hear that, that they are married off as young as like, 12 yearolds, and then they have to get a marriage running with a man they might never have seen before. These girls get diseases like when they are in labour for long time, and their body is too young to handle a child, [Just because you have your period doesnt mean your body is ready to give birth to a child without any medical treatment and help].
We might be pressured into growing up too fast with sex and such, but they have to. We dont.

I had to wash my own clothes, gut chickens, husk rice, cook my own food, cook other peoples food, learn to pick vegetables when I was seven. I'd work on my grandmum's chicken farm and restaurant.

When you were seven? And ew at the chicken thing but yeah. That's a good example and I'm surprised you haven't mentioned it so far. When we say that girls are growing up too fast, everyone automatically mentions sex and AIDS and skimpy clothes and Jessica Simpson.
I think Anji and people like her have to grow up pretty damn fast too. When I was seven, I was figuring out how to make microwave snacks and wondering why there were so many buttons on the washing machine.
