I think the difference between Dita and the PCD is what you consider beauty. I consider Dita beautiful and I don't think the same way about the PCD. When you look at actresses of the past century, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman etc., well I consider them beautiful and so those the rest of the world even after more than 50 years. I hardly believe anyone will remember the PCD after 10 years. Well, where I'm going with this is that very rarely famous women today are truly and naturally beautiful. I could say Scarlet Johannson for example, but who else? Little girls don't see their heroes in women like that anyway. They watch MTV and you cant see that on MTV. Values are different today than they were 50 years ago and you cant expect them to stay the same. What was beautiful then isn't beautiful now, at least not among the young population. This values will be different in 50 years. And we cant change that. But if some parents could put the value of real beauty and importance in their daughters maybe this wouldn't happen. I don't completely blame the parents, but at one point I do. Girls grow up too fast thinking that that is the right thing to do and no one stops them. And I'm talking about growing up too fast in a way that they dress like like the PCD thinking that`s pretty and act like that thinking that`s how they are supposed to act so boys could like them. Ha, when I was 8 I thought I could make a boy like me by giving him candy... Hey, but I was 8 six years ago... Girls don't get advice from their parents, they get it from teen magazines and that just isn't right. I mean, I read those things and I have picked a few valuable things, but this is your whole life and those girls think that be looking hot or whatever they will live an important impression which leads us to the topic that being smart is uncool and thats another problem among those kids. Cause thats what they are, just kids...

I know someone who I am so disappointed in. I miss the way we used to be, when we were little, and our conversations didn't include how many guys she's slept with. I'm scared that she might end up with a disease, pregnant, or dead with how she's acting right now. Actually, she did have HPV and had her cervix frozen.

The problem is her mother. She let's her do literally whatever she wants. She put her on BC at 15, but she started having sex at 14. She doesn't have a curfew, and her mom encourages to go out with men in their early to mid 20s, and she's 16. She's one of my best friends, and I love her to death, but I just wish she'd calm down and actually care about the consequences. She told me her and her boyfriend stopped using BC because they just got lazy. She also said that her mom told her if she got pregnant, she'd be angry, but she would eventually get over it and wouldn't care. Oh, and her dad hates it. He said to my mom once that if she gets pregnant or a disease, that's going to be another problem of hers to fix. I feel bad for him. He doesn't like to talk about it. He doesn't talk to her all that much. I don't know why he wouldn't do anything about it. If she was my child, I would do whatever I could.

She tells me all about her sex life, and I really don't want to hear it. I just want her to go back to the way she used to be. I mean, she's done it in public, at the park. On the couch when her mom was at home. It's just weird for me to see her going to where I know she's going. It just kills me to think about it.

Oh, I called her a whore once, and she said she knows she is.

*sigh*

Yep. Girls ARE growing up too fast.

If I had a little sister, I'd be the most protective son of a bitch in town. I'd probably be a wreck.

I get sick when obviously young girls are acting flirty with me and shit. And when I see underdressed ones, I just wanna give 'em a jacket or something.

Why're younger girls always trying to grow up and older women trying to grow down? Everyone needs to take their time and enjoy.

personally, i think nowadays kids are growing up faster, you see little girls about 7 or 8 wearing mini skirts and make up and flirting with boys, i didn't do that when i was that age, i think its these 'pop princess' like britney and jessica simpson that every little girls wants to be and they see they idols wearing slutty clothes and flirting with guys and they feel the need to copy them so they can one day be them

Yeah, I'm Agree With that. And Deeply talking, I think it all thanks to media. If you notice, almost in every commercil, or TV Spot, there is something related to sex.

Well, Yes, I get your point. They Make me sick, so young and they feel as if they are grown up and start wearing all those short clothes, and yet, they act as if they are old enough, the way they walk, the way to talk, etc. I think I explained myself.
That's just not good.

I think that it's sick if girl which is 15 have a boyfriend which is about 23.
What does he want from her?About what can they talk?
And talking about sexual activity, about losting virginity... I don't like to hear about that... Not becouse I'm ashamed or something. I just think that I'm too young for sex and I dont wanna be just a slut. Only 4 girls in my class are virgins (me and my mates)...

Omg, it's getting funny... And it's... terrible?

The ability to act older has become accessible to younger girls. It's not their fault if they dress like an older person, merely clothing labels fault for creating the clothes.

You only think that it's wrong because that wasn't what you did when you were that age.

OMG. YES.
My science teacher was going on about how these days, everyone is physically maturing too fast because of the hormones they pump into cows and stuff to make them grow faster. Then we eat the meat and we get the hormones. Something along those lines.
It makes sense to me. Nearly all the girls I know are physically matured and they're trying to act a lot more mature than they are mentally. So you get a bunch of stupid whores running around. o.o;

I don't think so. CLothing companies have the right to create whatever kind of clothing they want. Parents are responsible for what their kids wear.

So then it's the parent's fault, according to you. I guess in the spoilt child syndrome-like way, it is.

I think that young kids (9-11 years) are choosing more and more what they want to wear unlike me who wore what her mother bought her until it got too small to wear. Yes, clothing companies do have a right to produce as many mini skirts as their hearts desire, but usually, to make or market a different product, an older one will have to be scraped. So turle neck sweaters are being replaced with low cut tops. It's not just economics, it's also style, what has become more fashionable amongst the clothing industry.

The girls who are being slutty and jumping into bed as soon as they can are sure to regret it later.
