Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1181 | July 27th, 2005 at 11:11am the story of me learning my first song was a little funny.
okay, it was christmas evening, and I had gone to visit my fried, who had gotten this really kick ass guitar, but really, it was very plain, and any guitar is kick ass to me.But anywho, she had some guy over to teach her how to play, and for hours, she had been trying to learn smoke on the water. She hadn't gotten a hold of it yet, and was still screwing up, so I asked if I could try.I was amazed as I sat there holding a electric guitar, and it just felt so me.so I watch the guy play the song, and then I play after him, messing up once, then the second time I have it perfect, and he had told me that so far, I have been his best learner, casue he taught me a whole bunch of other songs that night that could be taught from one to three tries.
In the end, I taught my friend how to play smoke on the water.
A very simple song, but I am still proud that it got me started. It encouraged me to dig out my brothers old miniature acoustic, one string broken, and the strings hadn't been changed in 6 years, yet I had managed to teach myself to play on it, untill I had saved up for my electric.
Thats my story, from miss types alot |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1181 | July 27th, 2005 at 11:15am My first bass song I taught myself was seven nation army.Surprisingly I play guitar and I sometimes play bass, yet my childhood dream was to be a drummer.Meh, I like these better.
From the age of 7 I always knew I wanted to be involved in music, but I had also camr to relise that I hated pretty much every human to walk this earth, and fame wouldn't work for me.I just wanted to be in a small, club band, since the age of 7.And that I will do. |
