Im deciding between a Jim Deacon from McCormacks (a music shop in Glasgow) or a Fender off ebay. I know the fender is the better guitar but i dunno if I would buy something like a guitar off ebay. I did, and it wasn't that great. I mean... I love my guitar, but the person said it was in perfect condition and it's not. And it's an inexpensive guitar, so it'd be cheaper to buy a new, perfect one than to buy a new humbucker for it and fix it up. But I'm sure that's not for all the guitars. Some companies sell brand new ones on eBay, and I'm sure there a lot of good deals, you just don't know if you're getting a good deal until it comes and you see what you really get.
