What pedals are good to use, for most Green Day songs? Right now I am working on getting the effects for american idiot. Also are there any certain settings for my amp? I am fairly new to this and don't understand what settings are good for the amps and pedals. The pedals I am working with now are a Toneworks AX1G Multi-Effects Pedal and a Ibanez Tube Screamer.

Thanks,
Hope Someone Can Help...

Thanks that helps, are there any settings I should use for my effects pedals I have or are there any I need to buy. I also have an switch on my amp that says O.D. and Normal, which should it be on?

Thanks,
Dan

keep it simple. all the effects and stuff are taking away from the true music of the guitar. just get a wah pedal, it's the only thing that's worth the money.

no amp is too crappy for a pedal. And you should also get a basic distortion pedal, if you plan on playing live.

bass pedals are really expensive. like it'd be sweet to get a bass wah but they're super expensive.

just a money saving tip here:
instead of spending liek £200 on loads of effects pedals, i got a behringer v-amp 2 (virtual amp) for £75. its got 16 effects and 16 amp styles (eg, blues, fozzbox, etc...)
so if your planning on getting loads of effects, get one of these instead. its well worth the money. check it out on http://studiospares.com/pd_370100_BEHRINGER%20VAMP%202%20VIRTUAL%20GUITAR%20AMP.htm
