I love Nirvana. May i suggest to hardcore fans to get the Sonic Youth movie "1991: The Year Punk Broke" it chronicles their tour with Nirvana and though Nirvana aren't in it THAT much, when they are, it's hilarious.
And they have some pretty decent performance footage.

Ifound this cool interview with Dave in the bathtub. Its hilarious. And there's another one with Krist and Dave and Dave is takling about food on the table with an accent. They're funny.

Maybe I should check out that movie.

I'm just downloading the Bleach album from Limewire well a bunch of songs and is it weird that I like the Liveversion of Sliver from the Muddy Banks cd better than the Bleach version. It almost sounds too clean lol

Eh

That's your opinion. Other people may have other influential bands.

Nirvana is a great band, I think they're a teensy bit overrated, as much as I love them. Then again I think the Beatles and Paul McCartney are overrated.. but eh Dno

YOU SHALL NOT DOUBT THE PRESIDENT OF FINLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(by the way nice name)

the beatles were not and never have been overated, they bough music into what it is today.

By "single albums", I'm going to asume you mean singles?

My cousin has the singles for: Smells Like Teen Spirit; All Apologies; Lithium; In Bloom; Heart-Shaped Box; and Come As You Are.

I think he has all of them, but don't quote me on that. Those are the ones I can remember seeing him have. He was one of those early '90's alt kids. I wish I was around then.

He also dislikes Nirvana now, so I have dibs on them if I want.

And as for the post abt Where Did You Sleep Last Night? That song is amazing. I can sing along until he starts screaming and then I can't speak.

exactly. the moment he starts screaming it just gets to me..... perfect way to end a set.

His voice is infectious... I love it. Kurt is by far one of the most talented songwriters/singers ever to walk this earth. R.I.P.

They were the best thing that happened in the 90's. They were something different and refreshing... and if you go back and listen to their music, it still is different and refreshing. Timeless. Smile

Idownloaded Hairspray Queen but I think I've been lsitening to Been A Son so much I dont remember what he sounds like in that song haha.

I think he's an amazing singer.

Songwriter... eh I don't think so. He said it himself that he practically scribbled down almost of his lyrics right before he went into to do the vocals. And he had random poems. They just happened to fit him and fit with other words well.
