His voice is infectious... I love it. Kurt is by far one of the most talented songwriters/singers ever to walk this earth. R.I.P.

I love love love love his voice in the record version of Been A Son.. its why I'm so fucking obsessed with the song at the moment.
Hairspray Queen.
His voice is SO cool in it.

Idownloaded Hairspray Queen but I think I've been lsitening to Been A Son so much I dont remember what he sounds like in that song haha.

I think he's an amazing singer.

Songwriter... eh I don't think so. He said it himself that he practically scribbled down almost of his lyrics right before he went into to do the vocals. And he had random poems. They just happened to fit him and fit with other words well.

How could you say that? Shocked
It doesn't matter if he just "scribbled" lyrics down. They were still amazing.
He's my favorite songwriter.
For example, the song Dumb.
God. I love those lyrics so much. Shocked

Hey, hey. I didn't say I didn't like his lyrics. I love his lyrics, I just don't think he's the best songwriter ever. I love the music he writes though.

I like when I can relate to the lyrics, that's why I love Billie's lyrics. But its my opinion.

And I agree with you.. I love the lyrics for Dumb Retard I don't know what my fave song for Kurt lyrics is Think I know my favrote LINE is "I wish I was like you, easily amused" from All Apologies

He had a knack for writing unique music.
They labeled them as grunge.. and then I'd listento the Melvins and Pearl Jam and Nirvana doesn't sound all that much like them.

I know, me too! I read this article about him and when he first got an apartment in Seattle I think, he used to stay in there like all day, just painting and making collages. I love art, so that's cool that he was really into that kinda stuff.

EDIT: and he was gorgeous Laughing

I read one book about Nirvana. And it made me think that I wasn't sure whether or notI loved Kurt or thought he was a big fucking asshole.

And then Dave always says that Kurt could be funny but then were times when he said that Kurt wouldn't even compliment on his drumming. Dave said he's only been complimented 2 times his whole time in Nirvana and I think one time Kurt was drunk and I'm not sure if he was sober or not the 2nd time. That's kind of sad.

Awwww. *cuddles poor Davey* That makes me sad. Sad

Anyway. Yes, yes, we all know I love Nirvana dearly. I have days where I listen to nothing but them because...I just get in that sort of mood. And I learned Plateau on guitar when I was at a guitar store in San Francisco. Cool I was excited about that one.

I HAVE THAT GUITAR BOOK! I love it. I haven't checked it out in a while. Its how I learned Something in the Way.. which is by far THE easiest song to play on guitar in the whole world.

Oh yeah I've seen it.

And the song in my profile is an Early NIrvana song .. Aero Zepplin. one of Kurt's best lyrical songs.

I've been lsitening to a lot of their older stuf... from before Dave was in it. I really really seem to like it better, its got more of a variety of songs, where once they got signed to a label, a lot of the songs sound similar.
