The Fool On The Hill:
miss world:
I know! I love the little comments and jokes he makes. it kinda lightens the mood a bit.

I love when he's talking about the evil children or something or that TV show and he makes his voice really high and stuff. I forgot what he says. Oh and when he's like "I guarantee you I will screw this up." right before Man Who Sold the World. Than he's like "I didn't screw it up did I? Buthere's another one I could screw up." and then his voice gets all stoney when he's like "Am I gonna do this by myself?" aww.. it reminds me of a high school kid for some reason. XD I'm a loser. Oh when he says right before Where Did You Sleep "This is from my favorite band... our favorite band" then he turns around and is like "Just nod" lol

Oh. My goodness. *highvoice* "First I'm going to take him up on a hill and then I'm going to tar and feather him! *normal Kurtvoice* THAT'S not very Christian at all!" I love that part. It makes me laugh.

And after Pennyroyal Tea, when Dave's like "That was good!" and Kurt's all sheepish and goes "Shut up..." but he's smiling and..aw.

I just learned how to play Verse Chorus Verse on my guitar Ah

I'm gonna sit and play it over and over.

TAKING MEDICATION
NOW MY STOMACH'S FULLLL
which one?
there were like three released songs called Verse Chorus Verse

my favorite was renamed Sappy, I think that should have been the first single off of Nevermind, Butch was a retard for leaving it off the album

The one where the chorus are the lines in my sig. Sappy is an amazing song.

The lyrics are something like for the one that's named Verse Chorus Verse on the WTLO CD thing.

Neither side is sacred
noone wants to win
... and I can't remember anything else.
yeah, they're unreleased stuff sounded so garage-rock or poetic
that's what all the uncommercial stuff is: extremely poetic or garage rock stuff

I love Don't Want it All
it's just a poem with Krist cranking out some improv bassline

that's probably why I dislike In Utero more than the rest of their albums: not poetic, not rock
Steve Albini is a traitor for listening to DGC and trying to make it commercial, Butch should have done it but he was busy with Garbage

I know he would have let the album title be "I Hate Myself and I Want To Die"....c'mon, the whole album is a suicide note, why couldn't Kurt just title it that?

Because the media would have had a huge fit about it. Rolling Eyes Just like when John Lennon said that the Beatles were greater than Jesus.

Kurt did say he felt happier with In Utero that Nevermind. Dno I sorta see what he means. If you listen to Nevermind.. most of the songs sound simiar. I mean I love some of the songs on there but they've all got somewhat of the same sound... In Utero has more of a variety to me.
I only like select songs on In Utero. My favorites on the cd are probably Serve the Servants and All Apologies.
with Bleach, Incesticide, and Nevermind those were all songs written in like a 2-3 year period

In Utero had all of his early stuff with all of the new stuff (so two days old - eight years old) because it was basically a suicide note which had to span his whole life
I enjoy the album and it was really good, but it just wasn't as poetic and didn't have the "doityourself" punk ethic to it

and that backstabber produced it and wouldn't let Kurt title his suicide note "I Hate Myself and I Want to Die"

it's a damn suicide note

it just pisses me off they had too much influence on Kurt's decisions

Bleach - how Kurt was, how he thought, who Kurt was
Nevermind - what Kurt thought about everything, how Kurdt came to be
Incesticide - everything you didn't know about him, an autobiography if you will, the other side of him
In Utero - suicide note
Unplugged - message from the grave
You Know You're Right - another message from the grave, summary of Kurt, and his legacy

You Know You're Right.. fuck. That song is the most emotional song to me. I can't CAN'T sing along to it. Its just.. ugh. It does things to me.

Yeah on the Nevermind DVD they said that Smells Like Teen Spirit was really one of the only new songs the rest had been written earlier. I think there were a bunch that were later too but yeah Lithium was an older song.

I'm so confused. Incesitide was after Nevermind. I'm always confused about that. Is it before or after? But yeah. I love their older songs... its just a shitty situation and I think Kurt loved music but he was a depressed person and he just didn't know how to deal with the media and attention. Its so sad. Sad I just think he handled everything wrong. He was an asshole because he dind't know waht else to do and he couldn't take the attention and I think that's what sent him over the edge and made him kill himself

no, but it's easy to sing and play at the same time
incredibly easy

the only hard part is tryign to find the correct bass tab because no one has ever posted it

I know it, but I don't have an account to a tab site so I can't give it to anyone

but yeah, it's really easy to do both, and if not, ask a friend to sing
