Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 208 | February 7th, 2008 at 12:39am Mm, that's an awesome one. : even though you can't understand him. I'm really liking "Gallons Of Rubbing Alchohol Flow Through the Strip" and "The Other Improv"
Is Marigold on one of the foo fighters' albums? I was at walmart the other day and i saw one of their albums, i can't remember which, but it listed a song called "Marigold"...so it made me wonder if it was the same.
I'm really loving Do Re Mi, though. And the acoustic "You Know You're Right"...all of the songs, really. xD

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 208 | February 7th, 2008 at 12:48am Ugh, i was so mad the other day. I stopped by the music store here on the way home and i saw a Nirvana song book, and i asked the dude that worked there how much it was and he told me it was $25 and i'd asked him another Nirvana-related question and he was like "you really like them, don't you?" and i was like "[grins] yeah.."
And the dude was all "You should start aiming higher, honey." and went on about how he liked grunge like Pearl Jam but couldnt get past how sloppy Kurt's guitar playing was..
After i left i was like " " cause it's like, duuude, if Kurt played guitar like all the super-fancy people or whatever, he wouldn't be kurt..
xD i bet this makes no sense at all.

I totally agree. You should have told him to shush and you'd buy your songbook elsewhere if he was gonna be mean.

Marigold is Dave's song. It's on Dave's solo thing he made after Kurt died and then there's an acoustic live version from their Skin and Bones acoustic tour. They still play it now. |

Have you guys heard the fecal matter demos? I think it's Kurt, Krist and Dale from the melvins, they have different versions of Downer, Spank Thru, a song called Buffy's Pregnant and a few other songs. (:

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 208 | February 7th, 2008 at 10:55pm Buffy's Pregnant is really funny, these are the lyrics...
Boy, would I like to do her
I'd like to jump her bones
Slip her the hot beef injection
I'm hoping she gives me a hand-job
Hum'na hum'na
I got so wasted last Saturday night
Drank a whole half-gallon
Got really sick, puked
It was great, though
And me and my break-dancing friends went out
And beat up some punk rock fagots
Buffy's pregnant
We'll plan a future
We'll fit the class
Go debate on
Who has the nicest ass
Spread our mind games
With verbal words
We are all the same
Just flies on turds
Clone, clone, clone, clone
Saw you yesterday
Eighty-six rules
Did you hear what Marsha said?
"Like, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know."
Chris called me up
And he went and I went
And, oh, my God, I'm so embarrassed
I could just scream
"I swear, I will never talk to him, as long as I live"
Buffy's pregnant
Plan a future
We'll fit the class
We'll go debate on
Who has the nicest ass
Spread our mind games
With verbal words
We are all the same
Just flies on turds
Clone, clone, clone, clone
