I really like them, I've been listening to I'm Not Down lately, just because I love how Mick says 'toughest' in the song.
Plus I just really love that song, but I don't have a complete favorite, it always changes from time to time.

That's my favorite Clash song ever and it has been since I first heard it. It always makes me feel so....happy? Just, not down, ya know?

The Clash really mellowed with 'London Calling'

i just saw a picture in a magazine i bought a few years ago that i came across under my bed. anyways its a picture of david beckham in a clash t-shirt... d'ya reckon he knows who they are??

I doubt it. He doesn't seem the type, if you know what I mean. He is afterall married to an ex-spice girl. Also, people wear shirts of bands they don't even listen to just to look cool. Why should we think he's any different?

Oh your dad met them thats so cool my dad lived right by where they were playing and was at the door talking to the security guard and he loves the clash and really wanted to go but didnt have mioney for a ticket so the guard said if my dad guarded the door while he went and got chips he would let him in for free

My favorite song by them right now is Complete Control. And White Man. And Clampdown. And their version of Pressure Drop.

I'm thinking of buying the bio on Joe by Chris Salewicz. It was released this year, so it should be packed with interesting things...

I thought it was funny when whoever was operating the camera kept focusing on Mick who would smile and then turn away and then turn back and smile more. It made me laugh. And when Guy was doing his spiel about chairs and whatnot, then Joe, I decided, though I could be wrong, runs out with the target and does that little hop. And the entire target part was funny too.

If I'm upset, I could listen to that song and feel imediately happy, plus it's just a great song to listen to.
