Nah,I've got to disagree on that one.
I'd say either The Clash or Give 'Em Enough Rope is.

I don't really think so.
Green Day's version is....I dunno. Like its right on spot, and all technologized (if thats a word)
Whereas The Clash's version is more raw and energized.

i wanna hear the original version. as with police & thieves. i should get round to downloading.

I haven't even bothered with Cut The Crap. The only song I've heard off of it is "This is England" and honestly,I just don't feel like wasting my money on it. True, Joe and Paul were still in it, but the fact that they kicked Topper AND Mick out and still called themselves The Clash is just wrong.
And I have tons of pictures, but I'm not exactly sure what you've seen and haven't seen, so for a good selection of Clash pictures you can go here:

If you want any picture rarities,PM me and I have quite a bit I can send.

The Clash without Mick is not The Clash. Enough said. I've never wasted my money on Cut the Crap either.

Their version is so different from the Clash one. Theirs sounds like the Beatles or something.

If you just heard that version, you probably wouldn't think it was the sort of song the Clash would do. Then again, you wouldn't think they'd do a lot of the stuff they did, which is why they're so great. Very Happy

Yes,especially because he was one of the founding members!
When I heard he cried after he got sacked,I cried.
Poor Mick. He was so sensitive.

Really? I would've cried too if I was sacked out of a band, and I agree, the Clash just isn't the Clash without Mick.

Shocked
That's awful. I hope you find it.
And,uh,no,unfortunatley I wasn't born when The Clash was still together, maybe in my past life I did, if I had a past life. Confused
Didn't get to see the Mescaleros either.
Hopefully though,I will get to see Carbon/Silicon and then I can meet Mick and me and him can run away together.
I'll stop now.
