Tacoma Dome 9/26

Woop Woop!! I scored 2 tix to the Tacoma show! We're kinda towards the back( ) but at least we're going.

Anyone else here gonna be at that one? My daughter and I would love to meet up with other GSB members.

ahaha thats so awesome!! I'm going too, I think I'm in section A, row 19 or something like that. I'm going with my friend Molly and her dad, which might be a little weird, but it's better than nothing! SO PUMPED!! 5 MORE DAYS!!

Do you mean section 19A? We're in 19B Row 6. It might not be so bad being with Molly's dad if he's cool. When I was 13 and 14 I went to my first concerts with my dad, but he was really embarassing to be with. The singer I went to see had on skin tight pants (nice ass, too) and when he turned around and shook his ass at the audience my dad hollered "Turn around, we didn't buy tickets to look at your butt!" I wanted to die.

Hey, you're in Walla Walla? A friend of mine (not a GD fan, unfortunately) just moved there to be closer to his girlfriend. He used to go see local bands with me, so I'm really going to miss him.

i met this awesome girl at olive garden who's goin' too.
we plan on seeing eachother there. haha.

oh my gosh I'm really excited!! I think it'd be really cool if we met eachother but it's probably not very likely lol oh well! Well I have to go to bed, get lots of sleep tonight because I'm going to Tacoma tomorrow morning... I'm so pumped!!

hey yeah! thatd be awesome if we all saw eachother there.
you have floor tickets? cuz if you do, we could like.. plan on meeting in a specific spot or something. i havent been to the t-dome in a while so i dunno. or we could tell each other what we look like so we could spot eachother

but i doubt we will cuz there'll be a hell of a lot of people going.

I'm picking my tix up at will call a couple hours before the show. I'll be wearing leather pants, blue and black low tops with skulls on them, and a black leather jacket thats short, has fringe and a load of buttons on it. Oh yeah, one of them is a name tag badge from when I worked at Target! They didn't ask for it back when I quit, so I just kept it! And I have medium brown hair that's cut in a shag and *may* be tipped in purple if I have the time before the show. And I'm kind of short (5'3". And chubby. And wear glasses. Whew! My daughter is gonna be with and I'm not sure what she'll be wearing (something black I'm sure) and she's just under 5' tall and slender.

If you're there and see us don't be afraid to come up and introduce yourself, we love meeting other fans!

i'll be wearing a pair of jeans with bleach spots on them and an oversized green day shirt (the yellow and green one), a 3 row studded belt, and my converse. my hair is sorta long since i'm growing it out. i have black glasses. and uhhh... OH! i'll be wearing an orange super dizzy pass on my wrist too! i still havent taken it off since the fair. it's bright and slightly faded and i dont think many people will be wearing one so yeah. thats the main thing to spot me. the super dizzy pass.

edit: haha i'm 5'1" and have brown hair.

i just bought a pink and black shirt that says "Chase The Dream, Live For Rock!" and it has a skull on it.

But the show was pretty awesome! My seats sucked royal ass, but I was there at least!! The pink bunny was hilarious, but I didn't even realize it was Jimmy Eat World on stage until they said so :] I only knew the words to "In the Middle"

OMFG I wish I was that kid who got to spray the audience though!! lucky!!! but not as lucky as the guys who got to play onstage!!! I can't believe Billie gave the guy his guitar!!

But it kind of made me mad when Billie said "I wanna hear you sing so loud that every red neck in America hears you tonigh!!" just because he says that at all the concerts. Come up with some new material, bud!

That was us!!! Man, you should have come up and said hi, we could have hung out before the show.

The concert was just too amazing. I like to have died over Tre's version of All By Myself!! And Billie Joe's "Somebody f*ck meee!!!" made me feel strangely warm all over... It was so cool when he talked about the first time they played in Washington it was in Longview, cos that's where I live!! I'm not real sure if he was being sarcastic, though, about liking Longview so much they wrote a song about it. It's not the most exciting town, but it's _my_ town.

The Tacoma Dome is kind of a bitch to get out of. Other than that, it was all good.

the concert was amazing!! i freakin' screamed SO loud when Tre came up to sing! i could see him perfectly if i stood on my tip toes! *damn me for being short!*

my absolute favorite song they played was 2000 Lightyears Away.
i was seriously shocked when they played that cuz i seriously love that song. there was a guy behind me and he inched his way up next to me and during She we sang together! haha. i got this shirt tooooo:



my brother's girlfriend let me use her cellphone to wave in the air for Good Riddance, We Are The Champions, and Wake Me Up When September Ends. i secretly called my parents during WMUWSE and my mom picked up the phone (she told me she did the next day) and said she could hear everyone singing, and stuff. WMUWSE is her favorite song soo yeah.

Holy crap and a half I was there and it was the best flippin concert I've ever seen! I snuck in a camera and I was about 3 people from the very front of the stage so I got a couple of sorta-up-close shots of Billie Joe Good golly I almost died in the pit though! How'd you guys last so long? I had to get out right after they sang Jesus of Suburbia(yes, i'm weak) heehee i thought it was a nice gesture when Billie mooned the audience a couple times, that really made my year.

I was clear up in the nosebleed section, so I saw tiny figures on stage, But it was so awesome just the same! Next year I'll get Idiot Zone tickets and get to survive the pit!! Oh, to be up front for Billie Joe "roughing up the suspect" during Hitchin' a Ride!

And right after I did, it was so MUCH FUN! Mosh pits FUCKIN' rock.
I couldn't have had a better time...
Ok I would have had a better time if the damn drinks weren't so expensive!! Was anyone else besides me pissed off that the WATER was a f'in $3?

Well-I'm lazy and I didn't wanna miss a thing. And besides, when your energy level is WAAY up high your reasoning skills are WAAAY down low so I guess it took me a while to realize how ripped off I got.

lol that sucks!! I didnt even know that he mooned us, my seats were so shitty!! they should have had camera people out there and then put everything on the screens so we could have watched! That would have been cool, but hey do you guys know who or what website you had to go on to get your message on the screen? lol a bunch of people got asked to be married that way, how weird! xD
