| January 26th, 2011 at 09:22pm The legal sex age here is 18, and I think it's a good thing, even though teen pregnancy has gone up in the states and 16 and Pregnant is making a statement by showing teenagers the consequences of having sex at a young age. Even when I turned 18, I didn't even want to have sex. |

| January 26th, 2011 at 09:30pm I cant stand teen mom/16 and pregnant. I know a lot of people have said that it convinces them they NEVER want children that young, but I'm not convinced. I still think it glamourizes the whole having a baby thing, and downplays what a huge adjustment of life goals and values it is. |

| January 26th, 2011 at 09:59pm I feel that Teen Mom is just a horrible show, it overdramaticizes being a teen parent. Now I am not saying that it is not difficult to be a teen parent, but I agree with Erin about how it glamorizes teen pregnancy. One of my best friends is a teen parent and she has had her difficulties but she managed to pull through. |
