Legal sex age

stop im getting off:

I think that the legal sex age should be 17 because if its 16 then girls could be gettting pregnant while still at school. I once read in the paper ages ago about a girl that went into labour while doing her GCSE's. That is just plain wrong.

Well if you look at it that way you could argue the legal age should be 18, just to make sure they are out of school. Or way not make it 25, just to make sure they're out of collage, I mean what if they went into labour when they were doing an exam to get their degree or whatever, I mean wouldn't that be just plain wrong?

at 16 many poeple are still discovering they're sexuality and it would be easier for grown men to pry on young boys because they can use the fcat that they looked 16 in they're defense

it must be me or somthing because even at 24 i wouldnt want to think that some guy is haveing sex with my daughter, because no one will EVER be good enough for her.

Well...sex is suppose to be about love and voting is about poltics. And you kind a have to wait till you're 18 (not that anyone does) to drink because you're not fully grown before that and your body isn't able to handle the drink, or something like that (they explained it to us in Health Ed. once a few years ago, but I don't really remember that well)

I'd say either or is a good age. By 16 you think you're ready and most people that age do it but you're most likely going to school so if someone gets prego than you got issues to deal with.
By 18, you're most likely out of the house and ready to move on with life so you're on your own.

Actually, I think I'll side with 18. Just because in my opinion, it's safer.

No matter what the government decides on, there are always going to be those horny bastards who'll be screwing.

Not me of course... I wasn't talking from my own experiences.
