and on news today (well not really super recent, but recent enough) cky attempted to diss a7x by:
they were friendly in the beginning and then we sort of segregated. i dont know why, i think it was because we're 2 very different bands. they are very tame. they dont do any of the things they say they do, like drink, fuck and do drugs. they just stayed on their bus and avoided their fans...i'll never understand why bands do that. i dont have anything against them personally, but as a band they're just way too commercial and safe. i dont think it will last very long. - one of the cky guys

ok so for matt's reply to the first one:
CKY is CKY. When we wanted to take them on tour our management and booking agent told us it could be a bad idea, bands don't get along with them. We told them that we did not care and took them out anyways. Their schtick is to talk shit on bands, thats what they are good at. That statement is just silly if you look at it.
At the beginning of the tour we went to the bar after quite a few gigs and hung with them. One night Deron tried to fight a girl publicist from warner brothers. (they don't like being told that they are popular because of BAM) The next night Chad tried to start shit with our tour manager. So it was either kick them off our tour or just ignore them. So we ignored them. I still think the band is great and they have never said anything like that to our faces. In fact they are one of my fav. bands musically that we've ever taken out. I think they just like to talk and cause controversy. Who can make a statement like that and think they are gonna get taken seriously. "They hung in their bus" which means no one could be doing drugs, no one was drinking, and there was absolutely no sex going on? And about us ignoring our fans... I personally think it sounds pretty silly on their part, especially from a bunch of guys calling their fans bitches and telling them all to suck their dicks. I like all the guys in that band and I didn't think they had any reason to be bitter, but I guess they do.

Ah Shads, he's good at talking, gotta give him that. But sex, drugs and drinking seems just so stupid. o_: Wheter your a famous band or a carsalesman you shouldn't piss on people.  |
