well it's a long story, but here goes:
I had just been dismissed from school and it was a pretty nice day out so my friends and I decided to walk down to 42nd street (I live in New York City, just so y'know). On our way to 42nd street, we decided to pass by Fuse Studios. On our way there, we were pondering who the guest was going to be on Daily Download that day. My friend julie mused, "Dude, imagine if Avenged was there!" and we started making jokes about how we would turn into total teenies and stuff (you know, the "ZOMGZ..OH MY GAH I LIKE LOVE YOUR BAND" and veing a complete dork thing.). When we reached the studio building we see a whole bunch of kids (wearing A7X hoodies, mind you) standing in a line. We went up to them and asked who was going to be there they said Avenged Sevenfold. We began to freak out and they let us inside, only my friends had to bail out on me at the last minute cause their parents wouldn't let them stay in the city so late. And I wasn't going to leave with them, I had to see them! So the show started and were were forced to applause through all the videos. Jack White and the Raconteurs were there, so that was pretty awesome. Then Bo Bice (of American Idol fame) came on, and he was acting like a complete geek, doing karate kicks and such. I grew inpatient, but he soon left and after 10 more minutes of waiting, they came on. I had made friends w/people sitting next to me and we began to freak out and hold hands (we were basically trying to restrain ourselves from bumrushing the floor and tackling them.) We were like 2 feet away from them and I was seated directly in front of where Jimmy and Johnny were standing, so they were staring at me cause I was really nervous and shaky and you could tell I was shitting bricks. So, during one of the commercial breaks, I caught Jimmy still looking at me, so I feebly waved and mouthed "hi" in all of my nervousness and he waved and mouthed hi back!
I began to laugh and he laughed too (in my head i was having 10 heart attacks) and then the show went back on, and they left and I went home a happy child (which I still am). Unfortunately, I didn't grab the attention of Brian, but eh, what can you do?
At least I got soemthing out of it! And to think, I was planning on going straight home after school that day!
