I was about to say the same thing you did.
Anyways, I first heard When I Come Around when I was about 2, then I heard Minority when i was in the 1st grade and I loved it. Then in grade6, they played Good Riddance at our elementary graduation and I went through a slight obsession. Then again in grade 8, my friend let me listen to her c.d. and I absolutely loved it and went out and bought AI. Been obsessed ever since. (im in grade 10 now)

Since last August but now I have all their CDs, 4 t-shirts, 2 wristbands, a belt, shoelaces, a rubberband bracelet, a keychain and a calendar that is Green Day.

i've only really liked them as green day for a little over 4 years, but i did like "good riddence" 9 years ago, and had heard some of dookie 12 years ago, because my older brother was a fan.
well i only found them after american idiot. but it doesnt mean im a teenie goddammit. but theyre old stuff is so incredible. so only since about november/december last year. <3333 after going to their concert <3 i fell madly in love. and i still am <3
well im ashamed to say i never really cared much for em untill i started listening to radio last year and heard some idiot stuff that was good. and ive always liked good riddance. but now i know that green day's older stuff is even better than american idiot!

I'm ashamed to say only from the beginning of this year. But hell, I'm not a teenie. I really believe the older stuff is a lot better to listen to than American Idiot.
