TragicCaseofMyReality King For A Couple Of Days
Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 2350 | December 9th, 2007 at 02:01am I didn't really get into them until around June/July of 2005 when I saw Driven:Green Day on VH1 by accident, albeit it was a happy one There was nothing on TV, I wasn't reading a good book at the time, and I was just about to go to bed but then I changed it to VH1 and heard a clip of "Sweet Children", I believe... and was totally transfixed. I wanted to learn everything that that show had to offer of these three guys that I knew nothing about, so much so that I watched it again the next night and then a couple days later I got Dookie and fell in love with it. So then I went to Tower and got the rest (except for 1039 smoothed out slappy hours because they didn't have it at the time-I had to order that off of Ebay...) And that is how Green Day became my favorite band of all time...(and why I listen to pretty much all the music I listen to now-a-days come to think of it...) THANKS GREEN DAY |

I came into it all during the off peak season, unfortunately. Their next studio album was AI, all I had was IS and Shenanigans in between then.
I bought Dookie first, then Nimrod. After that, I was in love. So I bought Insomniac, IS and Warning.
I didn't buy 1,039/SOSH or Kerplunk! until after American Idiot though. Stupid, stupid! They turned out to be my favourite albums |

I don't remember what year that was because I am a mathematic moron so you do the math if your interested.
My first CD was International Superhits and upon listening I immediately fell in love[and soon after turning away from the bad pop that had been my evil master.] Then I began my mission of collecting anything and everything Green Day. |

 | February 10th, 2008 at 08:51pm I had liked the song Time of Your Life since I was really little, but I didn't know who did it. Then, several years later, the brilliant American Idiot came out. The funny thing is, when my dad bought it, I was determined not to like them. Don't know why, but I did. Finally, I started listening to it and started loving it. I'd say I started to like them January 2005. Then my mom bought me International Superhits! for Valentine's Day, and I've never been the same! |
