Age: - Gender: - Posts: 113 | December 8th, 2005 at 11:22am I first heard them in 1994 on a world band radio which picked up American rock stations - Britain only had Radio 1 and Capital which play pop,pop and more pop. I heard Basket Case whilst I was ironing and I put down the iron, and made a note of the name of the song and the band. I was straight down the record store as soon as I could afford it, and bought Dookie. Matter of fact I've just got another copy of this added to my collection - but this one's autographed!!!!! 11 years on and at the age of 46 I have everything they've ever done (thanks in part to my Japanese penpal) and I have seen them three times so far this year. |
