High Fidelity Falling In Love With The Board
Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 7797 | December 5th, 2006 at 02:52pm I forgot Times Like These... I think you know a few more than I do, but you also have all their CDs (I'm missing the S/T, but it's number one on my Christmas list ) and you have a B-side or two on there... which, sadly, I don't have any since Limewire and all that shit doesn't work on my computer |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 7797 | December 5th, 2006 at 04:25pm That's cool. I want to record music, especially since we need a demo to play most places, but I can't afford the software |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | December 5th, 2006 at 07:02pm Well that we just have on a videotape. A DVD, actually. But when we were in Seattle over the summer, we went to this incredibly incredible place called the Experience Music Project which is basically devoted to Seattle music, and music in general - kinda like the Hall of Fame only a lot more focus on Hendrix and Nirvana, etc. And they had this one room where you could record ten minutes of whatever you wanted to play...so my brother and I did Dani California, and El Scorcho by Weezer. And ten seconds of In Your Honor and Jesus of Suburbia at the end.
It was freaking cool. |

It was freaking cool. That sounds really cool I live nowhere near Seatle... I've never even seen the West Coast |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | December 5th, 2006 at 09:05pm the official postboard. Its cool that's where I get the Foo pics and information from. It's totally different than this one. This one is definitely WAY more lax than that. You get yelled at for being TAYLOR'S SO CUTE. . And apparently back in the day before people became obsessed with them an their hair They used to actually post a lot. Not anymore thouhg

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | December 5th, 2006 at 09:22pm I don't even have those. You definitely should get them. I can upload some bsides/demos/bootleg shit for you if you'd like when I get the chance. I'm used to doing it for other people
You definitely need Butterflies, How I Miss You, A320, Kiss the Bottle, Darling Nikki, Mountain View, Dear Lover.. those are my faves. Well A320 is a soundtrack thing. But my faves of those are Butterflies, A320, Dear Lover and Mountain View. I like Darling Nikki on ocassions but the screaming ruins the song for me.
Do you have Pocketwatch? |

I didn't like Taylor's band at first but I havne't listened to them in a while and now I love them. Now I need to listen to Chris's band. I've never listened to Nate's band. I have Chris's CD. They're goood. But they sorta sound like all the bands today. The whole palm muting thing and Chris's voice isn't that great and sounds like everyone else's too.

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | December 5th, 2006 at 11:05pm I don't think you realize, Lanes, that saying I don't like the Eagles isn't much of an insult. Tay's band's all right, I've only heard a few songs but they're decent.
And as for Chris's band, are you talking about Jackson United? That man is in so many bands. It's ridiculous.
I heard Dave was in a pretty decent band before too... [/lame joke/reference]

Jackson United. He's the rhythm guitarist and singer.
WAHH. The DVD is so good
I love the introductions part when Dave is making Drew the percussions guy run all over the place attempting to give solos and stuff.
Dave: "What's that thing over there?"
*drew picks up shit*
DAve: "No. No. *points* That egghead thing that looks like a Mr Potatoe Head." .
Then he makes Drew give solos for everything including the Potatoe Head thing, The Icycles thing . "That's boring. Nah. Next one.. nooo. That sucks. THE COW BELL!."
 .
Dave: "What are you drinking there Taylor?"
Taylor: "Gatorade.. gotta keep up my electrolytes."
Dave: Cuz it's so hard playing fucking ballads and stuff.
Taylor: "My mind sweats." . Something like that
Annie maybe if you're lucky I'll rip the talking parts for you Unless you wanna be surprised if you do get it. Just let me know if you want them |

I didn't really like Tay's band at first but they're definitely growing onto me since for some reasno I've been listening to a lot of mellow shit lately. I don't know waht's wrong with me.
hahahah. Annie.. no offense you suck at jokes. |
