I still think they should have made it all one album, because there's about one album's worth of really good songs on there, and making it a double just took it down from being a possibly great record to just being a decent one.
Yeah! Maybe they would've won that fucking Grammy. |

Yeahh, I think you're right. I don't mind him screaming a bit, like Breakout or Stacked Actors and the stuff on TCATS but sometimes he goes overboard.
It was good on TCATS and TINLTL cause he seemed to be screaming from the heart, you know? As stupid as that sounds... he would scream at the parts of the songs you could tell he really felt... on IYH, it was just nonstop, kind of pointless screaming.
This is true. Well said. On IYH sometimes, even when he's technically singing, he's half-screaming anyway. Yeah, I guess he was just trying to make up for the fact he made an acoustic album.
that's what I think. I think since they worked on the acoustic album so long and tehy postponed the rock cd so late they felt rushed and they just figured if there's screaming, it's rock. That's not necessarily true. Up in Arms and Feb Stars are slow as hell in the beginning and they wind up and are screamy. Those are perfect songs to me. I love those songs. Especially Feb Stars |

YES YES YES, *dies* and the guy from TCATS is producing the next Foo CD. Dave didn't like him because he was strict. But as much as I love the Foo. I think that's what they need. Strict. They need someone telling them that screaming is BAD. But at the same time their best record was made when they weren't signed to a major lable and they were the boss of themselves
Plus like you said. On TCATS and TINLTL it wasn't the WHOLE ENTIRE song screaming. It was intro -scream, verse- soft, chorus-scream, verse-soft. that's good stuff. TCATS is my favorite, so obviously, I'm as happy as a pig in shit. |

Exactly. Double albums are almost never a good idea. There's always at least a LITTLE filler.
Except London Calling, but that barely even counts. |
