Led Zeppelin, I would never have fallen in love with them had I not been interested by the band's enthusiasm about them! Hey, I didn't grow up in the 70s, I'm young! Now that you mention it, they kinda made me a Queen fan, too... I bet the band must have been stoked to play with Queen at the Rock Honors, but I gotta admit that T sings "Tie Your Mother Down" better than Dave does, not that he sounds bad! That was more of Taylor's song, for some reason. I think Foo Fighters should have their own band category-thing, like Blink-182, etc. Cause I was looking at how many posts those things have - NOTHING compared to the Foo Fighters thread. We have 191 pages!!! But I dunno, what do you guys think? |

Yeah, they've actually made me interested in Zeppelin and Queen too. I never got all that far into most Zeppelin, though, but I've made it a project to listen to more Queen. Hm, I dunno. D'you think there are enough people who would go there to necessitate a whole separate forum for the lovely Foos? I would, obviously, but the ones that have separate forums are the ones that a LOT of people on here like. (I personally am not a Blink fan but that's beside the point.  ) And it took us a while to get up to 191 pages...I think this is still the first thread made for them, too. |

Tehy're actually kinda good buddies which I bet CMOPLETES Taylor's life. Hell, it'd complete my life if my nonexistant band became good friends with the Foo .Yeah. I definitely thing Taylor's better at Tie Your Mother Down than DAve. Dave's voice is too low for it. Taylor has a higher pitched voice and we know Freddie's voice is insane. I'm with you about the Foo getting me into other bands. Taylor's the one who got me obsessed with the James Gang and Queen. I don't know. I'd love it if we could have our own little forum cuz we could make a pics thread or whatever but we're the only ones who post her. Not many people are big fans of the Foo here. hell, Nirvana is loved by a zillion people and that thread rarely gets any postage. |
