just kidding- it wasn't for a foos fic, it was for a nirvana fic. I have two pics of dave and kurt together that would make great pics to base a story on, but not many people write Nirvana.

Is that second Dave? Think I was looking through pics yesterday and I htink it was with a girl. Oh whatever. but that first one is adorable. Some people write it but I try not to go there.. I think I wrote one fic but it was a little emo one but I wasn't crazy about Down

I do emo fics really well. But, it turns out, abusing your favorite characters over and over again gets depressing.

I'm pretty sure the second pic is in fact dave. You can see Kurt's wedding ring in the photo, so I assume it wasn't another girl pretending to kiss him, and it looks like Dave's hairline. Plus, the tinsel is just...them!

I don't think I have any foo photos. I think since i'm not as into Taylor it makes it harder for me to come up with a storyline. it's easier when you like both characters to make it seem probable.

But the person has earrings and I don't think I've ever seen Dave with earrings Think

Yeah. I get what you're saying about the characters. I love Dave and Taylor so I can write their stories best and Taylor's my favorite (in terms of looks Wink ) so I write a lot more stories involving him.

ah, old foos photos!

I tried writing dave/taylor and I can't do it. I just don't know enough about taylor to make it believable. I can write dave into anything but not taylor. I can do Dave/Kurt but it's a little weird sometimes. I think I only have one dave/kurt I'm happy with.

write more fics! I think I've read some of your stuff and I really like it.

Thanks Smile I started a Taylor/Sawyer fic (I'm a huge Lost fan).. wrote one chapter a few weeks ago and started to write another and then i just got sidetracked. Hopefully sometime this week i'll become so bored that I'll be forced to write something

Someone needs to write a fic in which dave is the lovestruck one, and it's not Taylor following him like a puppy dog. I know that's sort of the way their personalities seem to jive but I think the other way is possible...

someone write from Dave's perspective!!!

ooh, there are a few of those in _tangledstars if you look back through the archives. I actually wrote one a while back and then forgot about it and never posted it. Think I love writing those two but I'll basically slash any two (or three, or four...) rock star boys I can think of Fizz Dave and Kurt are hard though. they were actually the first two I ever wrote but my fictional Kurt gave me hell and wouldn't ever do what I wanted him to. Cheese so I haven't written them in a while.

and, loooong ago, when my brother first saw the DOA video, he thought Taylor WAS Kurt. Laughing I've given him hell for that one.

and on all the guitar talk...I have my dear old Fender Strat but my dad's offered to buy me a new geetar anytime I want between now and high school graduation. and I can't decide what I want or when I want it. Cheese advice anyone? and my amp's shite, teeny little practice one that came with the guitar.

Spend the money on a good amp instead...a strat is a perfectly fine guitar, the amp really makes it.

However, if you can find a dealer, try out the M600...I'm biased, but I think it has a great crunchy sound which is great for like alt rock/metal kind of guitaring, and it's gorgeous for its price tag.

Otherwise, it's really a personal thing...what one person likes another hates. I do like the Gibson firebird, but not enough to spend $2500 on one.

I tend to have more problems with the fictional dave, simply because i tend to write from his perspective and so I have to generate thoughts as well as actions. I'll have to look back through the archives of _tangledstars. I thought I did but they might not be sorted which is hard.

lmfao. Smack your brother. Even if he's said to be a mini-Dave. No one confuses Kurt and Taylor! Cheese

Don't get the amp I'm looking for because it's really more for rock, blues and jazzy, mellow shit... which is not you Retard
You should definitely go to a store and try out guitars because when you pick them up and get a feel for them you'll definitely narrow down a lot of choices.. but there are truly soooo many guitars to choose from.

Don't waste it on a Gibson because A) they're fucking overpriced and b) you can find half of the guitars made by different brands for much cheaper prices.

That's all I know Very Happy

You know waht's weird... Taylor is the one who initiates all the little cutesy hugs and glances and stuff but everyone makes it so that's it's dave in the stories. I've tried but it's jsut hard... it's so easy to fall into the habit of writing emo Taylor. Although I'm sureI've written ones that arent' emo but I can't really think of them at the top of my head.

And yeah I'm with waht you said.. (I don't even know your name) Laughing It depends on personal likes. Kristy and you love the Vox and I tried it out but I didn't like it so much as the Peavey.

Kristy and you have similar taste in music so maybe the Vox would be something to try out? Dno

The problem is that I like playing alternative/grungy music but when I write songs I end up looking for sweeter chords. So that's why I opted for the Peavey. I was thinking mroe of what stuf f I might write as opposed to the songs I learn by bands.
Alright enough rambling for now Fizz

in RL the name is Lauren.

I can write emo dave like there's no tomorrow. But then I get sad that I make his life shitty. He seems so NICE and then I'm making him all depressed. It makes me just want to say "cheer up emo kid!" and scrap the story.

Awwww. Donm't do that. Haha. It's okay. I mean Taylor's all happy and stuff all the time but everyone ends up making him the emo little boy. Which makes me want to pick him up and cuddle him Retard

I tend to give dave personal problems as opposed to relationship problems...in other words, I tend to give him a past dating before most of his bands. Which is hard to write, since i don't know a lot about him then, and I have to come up with a way to make the emo kid tell a plausible story.

Sometimes they come out good, but I don't want people to think I have like...emotional problems for putting characters into these situations. Sometimes it makes me want to tell MYSELF to cheer up emo kid!

I want to read your stories. I'm interested Wink
I don't like writing Chris stories much.. at least not since we found out that in real life he's an ignorant asshole Sad But he's still part of the band so whatever. And I love writing Nate/Taylor too after Dave/Taylor. D/T is just easier because it's so much more plausible.

I'll dig one out, and one of my dave/kurt ones, sometime soon.

the easiest way to write dave/kurt is to assume they've already established the relationship, while dave/taylor lends itself to "first time" stories. It's nearly impossible to create a relationship between dave and kurt and have it seem possible. I think part of it is the way Taylor and Kurt are total opposites--taylor lends himself to doing something reckless while kurt does not.

I can't write Chris/anybody. I can only write about characters I like or am interested in. Sometimes on request I can come up with something but on my own, I can't develop anything I'm happy with.

I'm thinking about creating a character to work into a Dave story so I can get things to work out the way I like by using the new character's personality.

That sounds like a good idea. That's sorta what I'm *attempting* to do with my Taylor/Sawyer fic. But I have a really hard time writing Sawyer's bitterness and it's hard to write Taylor getting angry because I can never imagine him being angry. he just seems like the laid back, Cali guy who just takes everything as it goes.

A lot of my stories involve one (usually Taylor) being lonely and by himself and thinking and then someone else joins in and cheers him up. I wrote one for Taylor's birthday and I think I'm proud of that one the most just becasue I suck at wrtiing dialogue and interaction between characters but for that story, I acutally had fun with the dialogue.

I find it difficult to make a character angry because I'm not an angry person myself. I find it easier to make a character act hurt, but even then I can't get the response of the other person to come out angry.

I do angst better than I do violence, put it that way.

you have AIM? we should commisserate that way sometime.
