Janie Jones Falling In Love With The Board
Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | March 27th, 2007 at 05:07pm Dave and Taylor are one of the easiest pairings I've ever tried to write because I wouldn't be all THAT surprised to learn that something's happened between them in real life, you know. I can't really write a pairing if I can't make myself believe it. that's why I started having issues with Dave and Kurt, besides the fact that Kurt is incredibly hard to write because I can't get inside his head. either I have to know exactly how I want a character to be, or I have to base them on myself a little bit in some way. so if I'm feeling all emo, I write angsty boys. and I have no idea why it's so easy for us to always make Tay emo, because that's exactly the opposite of how he seems when I've seen him in interviews or 24 Hours or whenever.
Lanes, are you referring to the shmexy D/T birthday fic? Cos that one was fun
I'm going to get my dad to take me guitar-related-shopping this weekend. excitement. I haven't gotten to go to the store and try out different guitars in a loooong time so I'll probably find one that appeals to me. or, just an amp, cos I NEED an amp more than I actually need another guitar. |

Which is hard to write, since i don't know a lot about him then, and I have to come up with a way to make the emo kid tell a plausible story.
Sometimes they come out good, but I don't want people to think I have like...emotional problems for putting characters into these situations. Sometimes it makes me want to tell MYSELF to cheer up emo kid!
I want to read your stories. I'm interested
I don't like writing Chris stories much.. at least not since we found out that in real life he's an ignorant asshole But he's still part of the band so whatever. And I love writing Nate/Taylor too after Dave/Taylor. D/T is just easier because it's so much more plausible.
Nate and Tay are my second favorite everrrrr. they're so good for angst. and also for Tay being a jackass and Nate being all shy. aaah I love it. |

Ugh. Kurt is the fucking weirdest man ever. He's just... fdghlkjds. I can't get into his head at all. He's so intriguing because he's full of contradictions and just dfghjdfkg. Yeah. I won't go into that.
Yeah tha'ts the one Im' talking about. I had fun writing the interaction between D/T I might just read it again.. if my internet stops being a bitch
Get the amp first. Becuse you can always do stuff with your guitar like change the pickups and strings and get pedals and stuff but the amp is pretty important too. |

And Taylor even said that he's forthright and very "taylor-y" around Nate even though everyone is all sensitive and walks on eggshells around him. Taylor just goes and gives him a big hug.
That was probably one of THE cutest things I'd ever read in an interview It just makes me smile thinking about Taylor just springing a big bear hug on Nate |

I think I write better as dave because form what I know of him our personalities are similar, so I can put in what I'd be thinking and it sounds "right."
Elana, IM me sometime. I'm always looking for new AIM friends. |

I have a REALLY emo!dave going. No boysex involved, just straight angst. I guess there's a dave/taylor best friendship going on but I abused Dave pretty badly in this one, so it needs some tweaking to make it plausible. I hit a wall after dave made a revelation, because I can't figure out how either one would react. so i'm gonna let it sit for awhile.
I think the problem is i keep making them act like girls, which obviously isn't how it would go. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | March 28th, 2007 at 11:24am Taylor acts like a girl enough as it is with the dressing up and always constantly having to touch himself . Watch interview he's always got to do SOMETHIGN whether it's stick his hand under his shirt (which is fucking hot) or play with his hair. |
