That's my musical era so I have a crapload. I think it's funny to think about how my dad listens to REO Speedwagon and the Beach Boys, and I'm going to be listening to Live and Alice in Chains.
Live is awesome. I couldn't really get into too many songs though. But Lightening Crashes = Sex
I have the most fucked up music taste. I love the Eagles and then I love Nirvana and then I love old music, 90s music, some punk, some pop, the occasional Metal songs here and there. Yeah, my music taste is pretty scitzo. I love punk rock, that's my favorite stuff to listen to, but I'm not one of those annoying people that just listens to punk cause that's stupid. I pretty much listen to anything I can feel, anything with passion or that makes me feel good. I dunno.
Yep
I mean, . I admit I have some retarded songs just because I like the rhythm.. hell I have N'Sync on itunes . That's something . But if I like a song, I'm not ashamed to just get it. People shouldn't be ashamed because if they like it, get it, that's the wonderful thing about music. there's just so much fucking stuff out there people get swept away and feel they can only be loyal to one genre. |

Yep
YUMMY. hahaha Mhmm. Especially Aurora REALLY LOUD on headphones. It's such a gorgeous song.
AH! Exactly!!! my brother yells at me everytime I play the song on my headphones because I instantly turn it all the way up.
It's the bass. I've always loved the bass but then the bass is just pumping in the background and ahhh.. that is really Dave's masterpiece. and taylor's drums and nate's bass.. ahh YESSSS. I love the drums AND the bass. And that wicked awesome guitar effects and dhfsdjfopdjsopfjdsofj I just LOVE it. |

Ah. I'm still so tempted to read the godammn Kurt Cobain diary thing but I won't. I can be strong. I believe. I read a lot of it though I'm totally against the fact that they released it.
I'm against it too. I hate it. It's his fucking journal! It's one thing if it's like I dunno a songbook or something but his journal? It's disgusting. But at the same time I'm fucking curious because ... face it... Kurt Cobain is one of the most complex men I have ever heard of or something. He's just... ugh. Insane. |

Robert lang is this weird underground studio in northwest seattle. Krist and Dave were there to get some stuff done with kurt, but kurt didn't show up until the last day- so, they worked on some of dave's stuff.
They did exhausted, big me, alone and easy target at that session. I've heard the mix (no vocals) of exhausted from that session.
The laundry room demos are what got put on the S/T album.
Oh yeahhh that's what I mean. I get confused. I have both of those demos. Actually I think I deleted the Robert Lang ones cuz they were instrumentals and I got bored.
Mountain of You is on the Laundry Room demos right? I love that song. |

I wouldn't categorize the Foo as Punk at all. But they really have no fucking label. You can't just label them. They have such a variety of songs.
That's the thing with S/T it goes from the far left to the far right. Big Me to Weene Beenie and Wattershed and you've got those other songs in the middle liek Good Grief and For All the Cows. Tha'ts what I think of when I listen to S/T just variety.
Yeah, that's probably cause of the fact that Dave likes so many different styles of music.
Exactly./ I think that's one of the reasons why I love the Foo so much. I mean I loved Green Day and had my GD phase but even I wasn't nearly obsessed with GD as I am with the Foo. Green Day's like a never ending phase for me. Every time I stop liking them, I start up again a month later. But more their music than watching videos and what not. I kind of rotate my Fab 4 (Dookie, AI, Insomniac, Kerplunk) every month or so. |

the reverb? YUMMY. when I listen to it i take my HA out and put it on really loud and i love that I can barely hear the change in pitch of the bass.. I have barely any hearing in my left ear so i love that i can hear that. It makesme feel good HUSh ha |

I love those "tortured artists" kind of people, you know? It really interests me... probably because I am somewhat of one.. but it was kind of interesting to read his journal and see how complex he really is. |

I had my itunes on Shuffle the other day and No One Knows came up and I remembered how mcuh I love that song. IMO i think it's BJ's best song lyrically and musically. It's such a great song. It's not my favorite but yeah |

Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 265 | March 28th, 2007 at 06:46pm I have a zune. I like it a lot better than my old iPod.
most of it dates from the days before the RIAA, when napster ruled and you had a good sounding file if it was 128kbps.
I dated this guy who was music obsessed and a lot of it came from him too.
now if only i could figure out a way to get dave to cover that song! |

I just uncheck whatever I don't listen to, cause chances are, I'll want it someday up the road. Especially cause my neady friends are always asking for songs from me. I'm like the local DJ. |

Yeah he is fucking complex. He drove volvo or toyotas or somethingnbecause it was the safest car yet everynight he would shoot heroin into his body or beat himself up at concerts. He was hilarious at sometimes and other times he was a fucking selfish asshole and you just want to hate him but it's hard. |
