we'll go out and find someone
Here's the way I picture it'll happen.. i'll be in my college room on the computer or something and have my music on and dream man will walk by and get curious and we'll chat and dum da dum .
hey a girl can dream? I picture being a gig and meeting a guy there. And then we'd talk about music, and share headphones, and blah blah blah. I'm so pathetic.
I odn't even know any local places around me. There's places in NYC but I cna't go there and none of my friends are into that stuff Tehre's some coffeehouses around here I guess butI can't drive and again.. the friends But once I get my license i'm gonna go myself if I have to |

we met at a friend's house. He had his girlfriend at the time with him. the next time I saw him, he was over at the same friend's house, playing his guitar. we talked, he played, we traded screen names. Next time I saw him, we sat on a hood of a car in the driveway and talked for four hours. I was fifteen at the time.
fast forward two years, what feels like a whole lifetime, and it wasn't working out. we break up, get together to catch up in november. Sit in his car in my driveway, and we sing along to Johnny Cash at one in the morning. We sang All My Life (the beatles song) to each other, which is why everlong has such meaning for me...because we really could sing along with each other.
it was pretty special, I do miss him.
Oh my god. That sounds fucking adorable. And you live in Vermont! I love Vermont. It's .. fucking hippieville and awesome. |

We were sitting on the side of the stage behind the PA to watch the band play and he pointed at himself, made a heart with his hands, and pointed at me. It was halloween, I remember that.
being the dork I was, I yelled "WHAT?" |

Still, went to some good local shows with him. He was fun to keep around.
aww. I want that. But I get what you're saying. As much fun as music is, you can't devote all your time to it. You've gotta have a social life too.
That's why I wanted Tom! . but I'm over him. Pft. Besides I think he's got a gf now When did you get over Tom? Have I been gone that long?
Meh.. nah it's sorta just been like.. he was fun.. but I got bored and plus I dunno nothing happened so what was the point of that. I wasn't sure if i liked him or not for a while and then now I sorta just gave up. Pfft. I'll find some other boy. I've got my hot emo boy at school to stare at but ppft. I'm not good with guys and don't have many guy frineds. Just one really. SAME. I have one really good guy friend, and I haven't had a boyfriend since 6th grade, which doesn't even count. It sucks. |

Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 265 | March 28th, 2007 at 07:08pm I still know the words to that song. It's the song I wanted to dance with my father to at my wedding. But it was the PERFECT song to just end up singing along to. You know, when one person starts singing and the other one joins in and you're looking at each other and just...singing in perfect harmony? it was like that. total romance movie moment.
there are places I remember all my life,
though some have changed
some forever, not for better
some have gone
and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more...
ah, good times. |

Ha yeah I had a boyfriend in 8th grade for 10 months. We broke up a bout a month before I started HS. But looking back now I have no idea how we lasted . We barely have anything in common although I have changed a lot since then. I was huge with sports and that was one of the things that brought us together but now I don't watch sports anymore but I still play them and he doesn't like music at all. I liked music somewhat but I was nowhere near into it as I am now. I knew FOW and The Eagles and that's where I started off but I still was listening to stupid crap.
But he was really sweet and nice and I'll give him that. |

Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 265 | March 28th, 2007 at 07:13pm I got into RIT. Hated it, though.
the dorms were EENSY weensy. I value my personal space and not being buried under slush for months on end. Wasn't for me.
you'd be a freshman when I'm a senior, but that's chill. I make a mean homemade macaroni and cheese and I have a sweet house so you can come hang out...
and I'll even help you jump the border (shhhh don't tell our parents that's what we do on the weekends!) to go to Montreal. |

haha that sounds awesome Yhea I 'm going to RIT and staying overnight with my friend and her friend and I think there's gonna be 4 people sleeping in her room . I'm already scared.
Ugh. I'm so excited for College. I hate High School. My school, the people, I hate NJ. I've been ready to get out since Freshman year . I went to Middle school for 3 years in MA at a boarding school. And I loved it. I loved the town and the area. It's my favorite Town/city to date |
