I still know the words to that song. It's the song I wanted to dance with my father to at my wedding. But it was the PERFECT song to just end up singing along to. You know, when one person starts singing and the other one joins in and you're looking at each other and just...singing in perfect harmony? it was like that. total romance movie moment.

there are places I remember all my life,
though some have changed
some forever, not for better
some have gone
and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more...

ah, good times.
Isn't that In My Life, not All My Life? Think That's a pretty song though.

Yeah! I know Amherst. I've been to Hampshire Mall and gone rollerblading at the rink there tons of times and went to a bunch of UMass Hockey games with some of the teachers at my school Retard I love the area. Especially Northampton. Downtown Noho is my favorite town ever.

ah, noho.

here's a connection for you...the nightclub I was talking about, where my ex told me he loved me? Pearl Street. Across from Spaghetti Freddy's.

we simply must get together when you come to visit UVM.

AAHH! I know Pearl Street. I was going to try to see FOW there but it was either go up to MA for a night and see them at Pearl Street or see them in Soho in NYC so I opted for NYC. But I've wanted to go to Pearl Street foreverr.I've never been there though Sad
Faces = BEST STORE EVER.

HAha. I will remember that. I'm probably visiting it in the fall though.

Lol I'll still be here in the fall!

PS rocks. If you end up here I'll take you there. The clubroom is a great small, sweaty club room where you stand like a foot away from the bands. I love it there.

I'm seeing carbon leaf there in a...couple months, I think. Most people who go to PS come up here to Higher Ground so I only end up at pearl street if I'm already at home.

Still...it's a really cool club. That, the Flywheel in easthampton, and the fat cat in springfield were sort of the trio of the local scene in high school.

Aah, that CAN'T have been done all in one take. He doesn't take a break during the whole thing! Cheese It's superhuman if it is in one take. And I don't mind the song, it's not my favorite but I don't hate it.

I miss you guys. Molly I think I'm going to wind up with like six posts in a row trying to catch up on things, haha.

I had one for two years...it has its moments, and other moments where you want to tell him to take the headphones OFF and have a reasonable conversation.

Still, went to some good local shows with him. He was fun to keep around.

aww. I want that. But I get what you're saying. As much fun as music is, you can't devote all your time to it. You've gotta have a social life too.

That's why I wanted Tom! lmfao. but I'm over him. Pft. Besides I think he's got a gf now Hand
Cheese When did you get over Tom? Have I been gone that long?

Meh.. nah it's sorta just been like.. he was fun.. but I got bored and plus I dunno nothing happened so what was the point of that. I wasn't sure if i liked him or not for a while and then now I sorta just gave up. Pfft. I'll find some other boy. I've got my hot emo boy at school to stare at but ppft. I'm not good with guys and don't have many guy frineds. Just one really. Rolling Eyes
SAME. I have one really good guy friend, and I haven't had a boyfriend since 6th grade, which doesn't even count. lmfao It sucks.

ahh, I'm kind of in the same boat. *commiserates* Well, I actually have a few pretty good guy friends, particularly the ones in my band, but I wouldn't date any of them. and the guy I sort of like is really quiet and so am I around people I don't know so I don't see that happening any time soon. I wouldn't categorize the Foo as Punk at all. But they really have no fucking label. You can't just label them. They have such a variety of songs.
That's the thing with S/T it goes from the far left to the far right. Big Me to Weene Beenie and Wattershed and you've got those other songs in the middle liek Good Grief and For All the Cows. Tha'ts what I think of when I listen to S/T just variety.
Yeah, that's probably cause of the fact that Dave likes so many different styles of music.

Exactly./ I think that's one of the reasons why I love the Foo so much. I mean I loved Green Day and had my GD phase but even I wasn't nearly obsessed with GD as I am with the Foo.
Green Day's like a never ending phase for me. Every time I stop liking them, I start up again a month later. But more their music than watching videos and what not. I kind of rotate my Fab 4 (Dookie, AI, Insomniac, Kerplunk) every month or so. lmfao

That's how I am. Once I've really liked a band, unless I suddenly realize they were really awful (Simple Plan in sixth grade, hahahaha), I always like them at least a little, and revisit them and go "oh yeah! I still love this album!" which is what I'm continually doing with GD as well.

Elana and most of my friends can attest to the fact that I have high standards in music Fizz but I can handle a song from almost any different genre as long as it's, you know, good. Retard

i occasionally rediscover music but a lot of the stuff I liked I still like...since I grew up in the 90s alternative era. there just wasn't a lot of music out worth listening to when I was younger (yes, ok, I had NSync on cassette) so I just gravitated towards the stuff I heard growing up.

The first CD I ever bought myself was the Backstreet Boys' "Millenium" in the summer of 1999. I had casettes before that, because I didn't have a CD player I was allowed to use. Just a casette boom box. I had S/T and TCATS on casette before I finally got around to replacing them with CDs, and I remember buying Radiohead's OK Computer in 1997 on cassette.

I turned 10 in 1997, so that's about when I started to pay attention to music- so I caught the back end of the soundgarden/alice in chains/gin blossoms/radiohead/smashing pumpkins era. I thank god for that, because right after that came the girl group/teen artist/boy band era. Some higher power was watching out for my musical taste Twisted Evil

He NEVER does it in one take when he plays it live. When they record though I don' think they do the vocals while they're playing so it may be easier for him to scream his balls off when he's not focusing on his guitar too. But lmfao. When he does it live he ruins it and chops it up and his voice cracks. lmfao. It makes me laugh.

awww man. I'm jealous. I was only like 1-9 in the 90s. I loveeeeeeeeee 90s music. It's probably my favorite genre. Soundgarden, Nirvana, PJ, Alice in Chains, Melvins, Sublime (that's sorta different but they were 90s lol)

Soundgarden and Nirvana are my favorite of the 90s bands mmmm. And of course bands that were around in the 90s too like Green Day and Nirvana and more
