Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 265 | May 28th, 2007 at 03:32pm you'd be surprised at how much concerts cost with the driving to wherever (gas ain't cheap) and tickets are getting a lot more expensive...it's a bummer. |

It's weird, I'd never heard of the Gin Blossoms till you got so into them. But I got all excited when I heard the song. I was like "I KNOW THIS!"
Someone upload songs for me, I'm supposed to be doing a project and I don't feel like it. |

Yeah, at first the site said the FOW tickets were $70 or so, which was freaking outrageous, but then somehow it wound up they were $15 so that's the reason I can go. |

I was having a discussion on the foo board about high prices of concerts and CDs. Companies are going out of business with shared music, if record companies would stop being so goddamn stubborn and lower CD prices i bet they would make more money and more CDs would be selling. Instead we see a gradual increase everyyear. This year was an all time low and it's just going to keep getting lower at this rate.
Sure tehy'll have to lay off a couple thousand people but in the long run.. we've gotta keep CDs alive. Hell LPs and EPs have already disappeared |

70 bucks for FOW that odesn't even sound right.
My concert was free I was really surpriused but I guess it was worth it since the show was only 1/2 an hour long really. |

well that's not quite true. You just have to know where to look. if you really, really wanted to hear Justin Timberlake on vinyl, you could. Almost no album has NO pressings available.
I have the recent Deftones album on vinyl, and the new linkin park (crap album, by the way). You pay a little more, but not any more than buying the $20 CD. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 26154 | May 29th, 2007 at 08:14pm . It's a competition . I think it's cuz Taylor was hosting the VH1 Rock Honors thing and he was inspired by ZZ Tops beards and now they're having a beard growing contest . I want to see Chris's or he's too obnoxious and rude to do it I'm still pissed at him after what Ruthann told me. |
